"What is he doing here? Alpha Josh doesn't randomly show up," Astrid mused as the two of them walked towards the pack house where Alpha Josh was.

"Looks like he randomly showed up this time. Is he doing business with Kieran? Maybe that's why..." Katherine trailed off, even she knew it was out of the question. Kieran wouldn't do any kind of business with Alpha Josh.

"Of course not. Anyways, we'll know better when we see him," Astrid said, then paused as they approached the house, turning to look at Katherine. "Are you sure you're up for it? I know you've been feeling weird, and I also know Alpha Josh isn't the best person to see in this sort of-"

Katherine couldn't help but smile at Astrid's reaction. "I'm fine. Besides, I think meeting Alpha Josh alone can be draining," Katherine replied, thinking back to how the man had made her feel on multiple occasions.

"Alright," Astrid said, and the two of them continued walking.
