The man's voice sliced through the dimly lit room, sharp and commanding. "Well, did you see it?" His eyes gleamed with a fierce, unsettling red, and he gripped a cup of dark, crimson wine as if it were a weapon.

The rogues in the room shifted uneasily, their expressions a mix of fear and anticipation.

"Speak!" he demanded, slamming the wine cup down on the table, causing the wine to slosh dangerously close to the edge. His patience was thin.

"W-we couldn't, but I saw the mark. It's there," one of the rogues voiced out shakily.

The man cocked his eyebrows up, lips pulled into a thin line. "Y-you couldn't? Seeing the mark isn't enough, you dimwits!" The man snarled, throwing the cup at the man that spoke up, not minding how it hits him on the eyebrow.

"Go again, lure them out like you did the last time and find it. If the mark is there, then it has to be there," the man gritted out angrily.
