Katherine turned around to leave, a glass of wine in her hand. Astrid had given it to her because it was a celebration, and what's a celebration without wine? She shook her head fondly, a small smile on her face. The mood was light, even cheerful, with everyone talking to each other and laughing.

Katherine stopped dead in her tracks upon seeing the person standing by the door, a small frown coming to rest on her face. She remembered the way he had looked at her previously, the way he had held her hand. She didn't like it. Not one bit.
