The Cursed Luna

"He's here," Astrid's voice broke Katherine out of her reverie. She stopped weeding the crops, snapping her eyes at Astrid, who stood before her with a wide grin on her face.

"Come in and maybe get changed. The pack members are trooping in to welcome him. He's going to be busy for a whole week," Astrid told her.

"When did they arrive? I thought he would be here in three days' time according to what you told me. Did something happen to him? Is that why he's here so soon?" Katherine rushed out, her eyes widening as the thought settled in her head.

Astrid stared at her, slightly baffled. "W-what? He is okay, nothing happened," she rushed out.

That seemed to calm Katherine down, her eyebrows furrowed. "So why is he here so soon?" she mumbled to herself.

"Well, I guess he missed a certain somebody a lot that he had to come here as soon as he could, right?" Astrid teased, winking at her.
