Omar Talib led the Red Scorpions mercenary group as they left the Baldwin Inn before the sun rose over the eastern horizon. They all had a refreshing rest, after eating proper food and drinks. They were now on their last leg of the journey. Midday was going to find them in Jerusalem if everything went according to plan.
Omar Talib was happy because he had been able to get confidential and very vital information about the Knight Templars they were pursuing. She had taken some three hundred silver deniers from him as her reward. It pained him to let that money go, but he also appreciated the value of her intelligence as it was not something he could easily come across. At least they now knew that they were not alone, so they were going to take the necessary precautions.
