The lookout
"Atta boy, let's go".
Kai stood up, he went closer to Fuji and lowered his voice, "What the hell this time?".
"The Hokage needs you right now" Fuji also lowered his voice.
Kai looked back at Kyung and Ollie, Ollie was staring at him but Kyung eyed him and got back to what she was doing.
"I didn't know you guys were that friendly" Fuji smiled.
Kai gave Fuji a sour look.
"Jeez, easy with that" Fuji recoiled.
"It's just the practical test grouping that got us together, not together but just teammates".
"Well, if that's it, you and that stunk over there are really lucky, come on, we don't have all the time".
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean" Kai mouthed. He turned back to Ollie and Kyung. "I kinda...um...have something important to attend to right now".
Kai trodded off, along with Fuji.
"Was I the only one that heard something about the Hokage?" Ollie asked no one in particular, his super-hearing ability has captured what Fuji and Kai were talking about.
"I knew he's up to something and that S rank mage is covering his ass" Kyung mumbled.
"Up to what?, Am very lost...".
"Do you mind? It's my privacy" Kyung snapped sharply.
"Sorry I can't help it" Ollie squeaked.
"Find yourself some earbuds".

"This magisterium has four wings, the north wing, the south wing, the east wing and the west wing. Within these places, we can find that lady and it should be fast before she runs off to kill another mage. We can't risk scaring these children".
The Hokage cleared his throat as he continues, "I need that woman to be pinned down as soon as possible. Botan?".
"Yes my lord".
"You are in charge of this operation".
"Ok my lord" Botan bowed.
He turned to the soldiers "Ten A ranks and five S ranks will be stationed to each wing, just like what the Hokage said find her immediately. You can start now".
The mages began to leave the premises. At that time Fuji and Kai walked in. Botan saw him.
"Hey Kai, are you ok?".
"Am no kid, and yes am fine" Kai blurted out.
Botan knew Kai's pain of not feeling free, "The Hokage wants to see you".
Fuji and Botan made eye contact and Fuji nodded. He saw someone who he knew and walked up to her.
"Hi, Kaori".
"Hi".
"I'm sorry for your loss, I know how p..."
"It's alright, I have heard so many of that since yesterday" Kaori intercepted him softly.
"Are you going for the lookout?" Fuji asked as he saw Kaori buckling some shuriken into her belt pocket.
"It's quite obvious isn't it?, Am going to find who killed my sister".
Kaori made to leave but Fuji held her immediately, "Pls be careful".
Kaori nodded and left. Fuji walked up to where Kai and Botan were, actually they were waiting for the Hokage to invite them in.
When Fuji was closer to them, Kai grinned at him.
"What?".
"You know that tips about getting a girl you told me?" Kai trying to make him remember.
"Yeah, what about it?" Fuji didn't understand what Kai was trying to say.
"I think you need it more than me" Kai finally said with laughter.
"Oh about her, it was... actually nothing...I was just sympathizing with her" Fuji stuttered.
"Whatever".
Immediately, the Hokage showed up. "Come on in".
When they all came into the office. Kai saw a new face, he was wearing a lab coat just like the doctors in a hospital. Immediately the man looked at Kai, his eyes were cold but was shaking with fear. Kai looked away, he felt there was something off about the man.
"Arwen" The Hokage called out.
"Yes my lord".
"I want you to meet Kai, the bearer of chaos curse", the Hokage gave Kai an assuring look "Kai, this is doctor Arwen, one of the best in the magisterium. He can be trusted and we trust him to keep our secret.
"Arwen".
"Yes my lord, I will keep the secret... This is for the welfare of the magisterium and I won't risk impairing any damage to it".
The Hokage nodded, "We have sent soldiers to look for Maria, I want you all to be careful out there cause nobody knows her next target.
"Kai".
"Yes my lord".
"I want you to be more careful, though Fuji has been assigned to you"
"What!" Kai burst out.
"Shhh" Botan glared at him.
The Hokage ignored him, "It's for your safety".
"Why can't I have my privacy" Kai whispered to Botan.
"This is bigger than what you think Kai".
Kai sighed. He looked at Fuji.
"I don't like it either" Fuji mouthed, "I have stuff to do".
Immediately someone knocked at the door, it was heavy and fast.
"Come in".
A mage, one of the soldiers that were sent on the lookout rushed in, he was breathing heavily.
Everybody in the room became tense. "What is it?" The Hokage asked.
"My lord, report coming from the west wing, Maria killed another mage, a teacher of 3rd level mages".
"This is overwhelming".
