Couple's banquet

"Here is a date for your make-up test" Mr Quinn gave a paper to him.

"Make-up test, why?" Kai inquired.

"You were late to class Kai and you missed the test" Mr Quinn clasped his bag "Have a decent day Kai and do well to study" He left.

Kai remained at that spot, " I disdain history", he folded the paper and wrapped it up in his pocket, he heard the students babbling outside.

"Gracious fuck, the bus!" He rushed out of the hall and was going to go down to the bus park.

"Excuse me" Doylestown stopped him. Doylestown took a gander at Kai and at that point, he realize that Kai was not an ordinary sort of individual but rather a unique kind and that is the reason the chaos power chose him.

Doylestown saw that Kai needed to find a bus.

"The bus, You attempting to follow them?" Doylestown pointed out.

"No doubt" Kai nodded.

"I can take you home" Doylestown introduced tenderly.

"Thanks, however, I can follow the bus", Kai saw his identification and saw that he was police, " Are you an officer?".

"Shit" Doylestown cursed in his mind, "Well no doubt, my cousin works here in this school, so I came to meet her"

"Alright, I got to go at this point" Kai excused himself and rushed for the bus, it was nearly filled up.

"What a brilliant youngster" Doylestown grinned, he went down to his vehicle, he trusted that the bus will make a little distance before he could follow it.

"Hello detective"

"I tracked down him," Doylestown told him.

"He lives alone?" Duke inquired.

"No, he lives with his folks"

"Would it be a good idea for us we include the parents, cause that won't be an issue for my young men"

"No, we are not including them, it'll create a ruckus" Doylestown answered, he realized that the Mages will effectively track down Kai if they find out that his folks were hauled into it.

"So what then?" Duke's rough voice tingled Doylestown's ear.

Doylestown moaned as he hauled the telephone out of his ear for quite a while before he could answer Duke.

"We remove the parents from the house this night"

"How?" Duke inquired.

Doylestown grinned devilishly, "Get them a couple's dinner to a film show this night".

"Fascinating" Duke smiled, " I'll deal with that"

"I will send you the house address," Doylestown cut off the call. He wrote down the house address and sent it to Duke, "Here we go". He drove off.

It was at that point 6. pm that night, Kai sat in his room, he had his assignments before him, he was gazing at them considering how he would go about it, he sighed and got his hands into the jeans he went to class with, he drew out the folded paper and opened it, the compositions on it was at that point looking sad.

Kai's father panted, he shouted to his wife " Honey you should see this!". He collected the envelope and he was as yet dumbstruck.

"Hey, sir" Kai's mom welcomed the man when she moved toward the door. Her husband showed her the envelope, she took it and opened it.

"Goodness, a couple's banquet".
