More Mystery

I sat into the car.

"So how was your day?" Tom Asked

"Good" I said

Tom kept on blabbering something, which I wasn't paying attention to, I was looking outside thinking about the whole incident that just took place.

"Tom can you leave me near the cotton candy shop? I want to go to one of friend's house?" I said

"Right now" Tom questioned

"Yes right now, Some little important work has to be done." I said

Tom agreed, left me at the candy shop, said bye and left.

And I raced towards to Jared mansion. Jared family was one of the most influential family in the city. He was a really pampered and spoilt kid.

After two years it was the first time when I was entering his house. Everything in his house looked new, the maid instantly recognized me and greeted, "Hello Serena ma'am, after a such a long time. How have you doing?"

"Great! How are you?" I smiled and asked

"Good, just a second. I will call Jake sir."

She went upstairs and came back.

"He has called u upstairs" She said

I signed and went upstairs

I knocked the door of Jared room

"Come in" he replied

"It nice to see you home after an eternity. Make yourself comfortable."

"I won't like to beat around the bush and come straightly up to the point." I said

"Yesss, you must have had really important work to show up here today. It was my false expectation to think that you just came here to say hi and to bother about how am I doing." He laughed with a little bit sadness in his voice

"What sought of Games are you playing?" I shouted, losing all my patience

"What games are you talking about?" He asked in serious tone

"You were the one who, wrote the letter right? And then send Alan on your place."

"What letter?" He asked being clueless

I removed a letter from my bag

"Ahhhh that letter" he said realizing a thing

"Yes this letter. Care to explain?"

"Listen Serena, I had no idea that letter was for you. Alan told me he wanted to talk to a girl, but that girl never smile back to him and stuff. Therefore he wanted me to help. So I suggested him writting up a letter but as he told me that he had never written a letter before, I assisted him in helping Therefore that letter had my handwriting....." he said

I said cutting his word

"Do you think I believe you after so many time you have lied"

"You have to. I have no point in telling in lies." He said aggressively

"C'mon Jared, it's just you and me. Stop up with your acts."

Serena listen, I aint acting. I really had no idea whom he wanted to meet and if I knew it was you I would never helped. Infact advice him to stay away from you." He said

"Why stay away me?" I said in rage

"Because I won't be able to see you with anyone else."

I got 220V current after hearing that

"What did you say?" I asked

He was quiet. I shouted on top of my lungs " What the heck did u say?"

I came really closer to in anger and rage.

"I love you Serena from the bottom of heart." He said

"You cheated on me Jared with Maria." I shouted

"I had my reasons." He was holding me tightly by my waist I was so close to him that I could have felt his breathe.

"What reasons" I said lowering up my voice

"Reasons which you won't understand." He had a drops of tears in his eyes

"No reason in this world can force someone to cheat. Cheating cannot be ever justified." I said

"I know I was jerk" he said almost crying

"Stop up with your acts"

"I ain't Serena. All this two years I have been dieing without you. I even tried to contact you but you never listened."

I pulled away from Jared arms. Took my bag and walked out of his room

I heard the voice Serena from behind.

I went away from the mansion and finally screamed "why does this happen to me only" and cried.
