- Crimson Blizzard Phoenix

Everyone slept peaceful the whole night until morning came.

"SSSCCRREEEEEE"

An awful noise ended up waking everyone up from their slumber out of panic.

Chang Mu was the first to act, "What's going on, is there a magical beast attacking?"

Once again, they heard the awful sound from the mysterious magical beast but this time it sounds closer than before when they were sleeping.

"I take that as a yes, let's get ready for an attack and let's not be in this cave or else we'll be trapped in if it finds us." I replied with a calm expression, but I was actually excited.

There isn't any flying magical beast that can produce that sound, so it means that there are two possibilities that could explained what's going on.

The first possibility was that a new magical beast has come from a surrounding area to make the Crimson Cold Forest its home. But more than likely it's the second possibility, which is the ladder, that a brand-new magical beast that has never been seen before has comes down from the Immortal plane.

As we were leaving the cave everyone heard the sound of flapping of feathers which means it was a bird kind of magical beast.

"No way, this shouldn't be possible, why is there a middle rank 2 magical beast in this area, they should be higher up the mountain, protecting their territories and treasure." as I try to find logic as to why such magical beast was this close to the edge of the Crimson Cold Forest.

"Is there a way that we can defeat this one?" looking at Yin Hei for an answer.

"All I can do is call cause a stalemate that will last about 10 minutes given to the stronger aura that it's producing whole Chang Mu and Son Long could slightly weaken it but that's it." Yin Hei said this as he was worrying how to go about this.

"I might have a way, I have two blood pendants which has a special property where if it's infused with enough Qi, it can force a contract between the beast and the person that has infused their blood to it." as this as I go because there was no time to think it through.

"But I'll need one more person to help infused Qi in one of the pendants we're using because personally don't have enough Qi to do this part."

"Then we'll do this, Chang Mu, help Yang Fen infuse Qi into one of the pendants while me and Sun Long will distract it, hopefully it won't catch on."

Everyone else nods to Yin Hei because it was the most likely plan where everyone survives, even that ugly Sun Long.

"Here it comes." just as Yon Hei warned, a beautiful bird with an icy blue flea there while it's eyes and the tip going down was that of crimson red. It was 2 and a half meters tall, bending taller than me.

But everyone eyes widen from surprise and fear when they saw the bird, but for some reason I have no idea why.

"That's a Phoenix but their usually not in the mortal realm and are born with a much higher ranking."

Just when they were about to questioned it the Phoenix screamed and started to summon ice that was slowly taking its form as shards that was 20 inches long and as thick as my thigh.

"One wrong move and that attack will kill me." as me sensing the how lethal the attack was.

"Alright we'll leave the y'all with the bird, Yang Fen, please take out the pendant so we can begin."

Everyone immediately did their roles as I did mine, which was to bring out the pendant and start infusing Qi into it.

Sun Long was the first to attack, he managed to cover his saber with flames and slashed it towards the bird, but it dodges it and now its focus and attention was onto the two boys'.

Yin Hei started using his Qi to start forming clouds around his head, then when he's done forming them, he sent them towards the Phoenix. The Phoenix tried to dodge but it immediately changed course to follow it.

The Phoenix noticed this and started producing a strong icy wind that freezes anything it touches. Son Lund had to put large amounts of his Qi into his saber, while Yin Hei used his Qi to form clouds around him to make a shield of storms.

"I have to do something or else they will get seriously injured and worse, die."

When she saw the sight of the people in front of her taking the damage of the Phoenix. Then, something deep within her soul started feeling her mind with information.

"Is this really the time for my soul to give me information."

The sudden pain almost made her lose focus on infusing the pendant with Qi, but it only lasted for a few seconds she something that intrigued her.

"Blood Formations, and I learn two of them."

She didn't have time to think about when she realized that one of the two was a seal one.

"Chang Mu, I might have something that might help the boys live, can you keep infusing Qi into the pendant."

"Just go ahead and do it but be quick, the pendant is almost ready to be used."

I began the formation, but I needed to do something that no one has seen before, I start to make a formation in the air with my blood from my index finger that I bit.

Before anyone could take into account as what just happened, the formation was finished, and I infused the last of my Qi to activate it.

"I hope this works."

Nothing happened at first but then blood veins started producing from the formation and started attaching themselves to the Phoenix. The Phoenix didn't sense any danger from it so she didn't dodge. Then it did connect, and the formation start absorbing the magical beast Qi and also sealing the bird from using any Qi, ending up making her completely useless on the offense side.

"Alright it's finished."

Chang Mu tossed the pendant towards Yang Fen and dripped a bit of her blood onto the pendant, and it absorb it.

"Yin Hei here, through this at the Phoenix."

I throw the pendant at Yin Hei and caught then thrown it.

The pendant then attached to the Phoenix and the sight they saw started to form in everyone's heart.
