3. If It Rings... Then Listen Closely

The school was coming to a close end of session, along with the rush hour of people coming back from their work. The heavy rain helped gave a small breeze to the skin but limits our vision to others that were on their way the their comfortable home. The two boys were chatting as they went to the Music Department to drop the keys after using the Practice Room.

Arata pulled out his umbrella before he headed out to the open school compound, unlike energetic Yuichiro would just run under that rain rather since his house was more close by, sheltering himself from such weather only with his school bag and school clothes he wrapped around it as he dashed off till Arata lost sight of him from the distance. The prodigy came prepared with a spare of a large-sized plastic wrap that he would carry around to protect his work from getting soggy from the rain. "Mostly I would be complaining about the hot weather... but why must I complain about the odds anyways?" He said to himself, as he started to take the left intersection after exiting the school entrance.

The walk back home was roughly 10 minutes, Arata steps in and heads to his room first thing, passing by the kitchen which was only across the hall to the right. Sets his bag down and removes the plastic bag wrap. He cleaned himself off before he changed to a fresh pair of home clothes. "Perfect, let's get something to warm ourselves first. I can't work under these conditions anyway.." Arata thought to himself, sitting on the bed and rubbing his head temple before getting up to the kitchen. Knowing that he lived all by himself, he needed to continue working on this empty music sheet that he had been staring at for hours as if his life depended entirely on it.

Firstly, in a cold weather like this during the evening, tea time would be important since he needed the energy before continuing to finish in anything particular. He opened a small tea bag with Earl Grey flavor, pouring himself one with no sugar added. Just how he would enjoy it, complimenting his appetite with a sandwich that he bought earlier from the canteen. It was gonna be a long, rainy evening before he continued back his work.
