2. Tutti Is All Together

Within his medium sized room, there stood a grand piano. Behind it was its elegant owner, Arata Kasai.

"I still don't understand it..." the pianist said, fiddling his pencil on the right and gently tapped on his empty manuscript page with the left. A music block? Perhaps, the tiredness got the best of him after several hours, investing such composition from a little inspiration that sparkled on him. He had to keep going... uncertain of how the flow was. The only thing he was certain of that ideas weren't flowing in easily to the head. It didn't sound right...

Arata's body stayed still. The mind phased to a world only one enters and eyes closed, only engulfing with the darkness surrounding his vision. Pin drop silence in the room... it was perfect for such short recovery before he continued his work. What he doesn't know...

He was about to get the unexpected...

An energetic fellow came crashing in the room, seething explosive, excitement energy unexpectedly has driven the pianist to a terrified expression, almost stumbling over his head followed by the keys, then flopped to the floor.

"ARATAAAAAA!!!! Bud, you won't believe if I said I was trippin' about this-" before his annoying roommate continued, the pianist cuts him off. "Yuichiro please, we've been over this so many times already.." he responded as he rubbed his head from the impact of the fall he had.

This is Yuichiro, the 17 that knows no boundary when it comes to facing things heads-on without giving a second thought before anything. Think of it like an enraged bull, always charging towards the held red cape by someone infront of them. That's how Arata thinks about it... or at least what he is.

"Dude, I know you're on about that... uh whatever sanata moby thing you've been stuck at" Yuichiro said, giving him the old one eyebrow raised look at Arata, as he picked up his uncomplete drafts of his works. All the classical pianist could do was sigh at his poor choice of words and corrected him, "It's called a sonata movement.. and I don't appreciate that sort of entrance at all". Yuichiro understood Arata's pain, he wasn't all like the other kids.

Arata was one of refined and talented music person in a school where they both went together. Many were outgoing and loud, Arata was just the opposite of them. Stands as a prodigy, living in such an average family and respected amongst his friends. Yuichiro was into music as well... but he was more into contemporary music.

Each of their selection fitted well with one another, except there was a price to pay... which one stands out between the two? When profession comes in tone, the skills must be developed within such time, skill requires time. Should talent exists in the industry comes the price of skills. Talent is not gained by one's birth but sole trait of their natural effort to take fruit. Plant the seed and surely, the tree of talent takes shine to its competitive area. It was the survival of the fittest... for the two.
