Not too kind to be a King!

The Royal Palace.

HA HAA HAA!

 A loud sound of laughter can be heard from The Emperor's chamber. The servants guarding outside get anxious hearing Emperor's sudden laugh in doubt whether it's due to happiness or some health ailments. Everyone starts wondering what made their sick Emperor who waited for death few days before become happier suddenly. It made them to worry for his health more.

 Madam Mary comes running and walking all the way from her chamber. She thought that her husband would be resting after she gave him his medicines. Hearing the news of his sudden laughter thrown Madam Mary into panic and worry.

'Is he unwell?! Did he lose his mind?! Jesus Christ! Please keep him in good health!'

Madam Mary darts inside the Emperor's chamber hurriedly and gasps "Your Majesty!"

Emperor Philips who was reading a letter takes his eyes from the letter and gets surprised seeing his beloved wife gasping. He wonders "What made you into this, love?! What happened to you?"

Madam Mary looks at him in confusion. Seeing him talking to her gave some relief to her panic-stricken heart. But she couldn't help gasp "Your Majesty! Are you fine? Why were you not sleeping? And what happened to you?"

HA HA!

Emperor Philips laughs heartily again and gestures his shaking hand slowly "Come here, love".

Madam Mary walks beside him and sits next to him. She asks worriedly holding his unsteady shivering hand "Are you alright?"

He smiles and asks "Aren't you aware of the draught in the country? Especially in the Countryside Village?"

Madam Mary nods worriedly "Did something bad happen? I instructed Xavier to keep an eye there. As soon as the battle ends, I asked him to use those funds to build the dam".

HA HA!

Emperor chuckles shaking his head "We don't need to wait for the battle to end My Lady. Ask Xavier to make the Southern Country's Emperor to fund the dam construction".

Madam Mary gets astonished and she didn't take even a minute to understand everything. This problem has been the main reason for the people who stood against the realm. Everyone was only pointing at that one issue to accuse the Royals. Emperor Philips had tried his everything to fund the dam construction!

But Madam Mary was stunned at this wonderful thought of idea.

'Why not? Even though the construction of the dam will benefit the people of the Northern Country, the major benefactor of it is still the Southern Country! How could we not think of this way before?! How did it slip our mind for so long?!'

She gasps "How did you think of this wonderful solution?! Your Majesty! You …Were you laughing in rejoice after finding this way? I will call Xav at once and will ask him to go to the Southern Country now!"

Madam Mary walks out of the chamber hurriedly. It literally showed the seriousness of the situation and how long the issue has been troubling them politically and even mentally.

Emperor Philips nods and smiles to himself seeing the message that he received from The Countryside Pavilion. He wonders holding the message.

'What is that silly child doing there? She has solved a huge problem in few days of her presence! Does she realise the seriousness of her bravery? Such a witty brat! Sugar coats now and then with words like 'Father'! Just like her father!'

He smiles contently and sighs in relief before closing his eyes to sleep.

The Countryside Pavilion.

Celina asks while walking ahead of Maya "Ma'am, Are you sure about this? Won't the Emperor get furious reading your letter? I heard that he has bad temperament for those who interfere in his decisions".

Maya is looking around the nature and speaks carelessly "Don't worry for me. I believe this will not go wrong. If something bad happens, I will take the blame for you".

Celina cries in low voice "You should Ma'am! Because it was your idea! I only wrote for you".

Maya smiles seeing her wronged face and wonders "Tell me about this country. I don't know any of the neighbouring countries".

Celina nods and starts saying "We are in The Northern Country of Four big Realms of the four main countries. The Northern Country, The Southern Country, The Eastern Country and The Western Country. Even though they are different Realms ruled by different Emperors, everyone knows that The Northern Country is the most powerful amongst them".

"Our Emperor Philips has been invincible enough to hold this position and thankfully Our Crown Prince Kalki has grown up eligible for the throne. I heard that His bravery and fighting skills even astonished Our Emperor even when he was very young!".

Maya listens to her every word intently but as soon as she heard Kalki's name, she scoffs 'Eligible for the throne… If Bravery and fighting skills were enough to ascend a throne, then each and every soldier who dies fighting in a battle deserve to be a King! Poor people! They have been worshipping these people just because they are born in Royalty-'.

Maya remembers Xavier and wonders "What about … Prince Xavier? Is he not capable of ascending the throne?".

Celina stops walking and squeals looking at Maya in awe "Do you think that too?! Ma'am, I think we are same souls just separated in different bodies! Every time I say the same sentence, everyone looks me as if I am insane and absurd".

Maya frowns hearing her "Why is that? He seems equally capable".

'Forget his same temperament like his brother, I think Xavier is gentler than his brother'.

Celina announces proudly "Indeed Our Prince Xavier is capable too but Sarah always says that he is not too kind to be a King! She thinks a King must be ruthless most of the time to their enemies and Our Prince Xavier could never hurt anyone! But that doesn't mean he can't kill his enemies in a battle!".

Maya thinks about her time with Xavier and smiles "Indeed. He is not too kind to be a King but too furious to be a friend".
