Chapter - 2

Sorbey was sitting on a bench, and was staring into distance, just then, he heard a voice.

"Hello, are you Sorbey? Mr. Suro send me here to give you a tour, and help you settle down".

Sorbey looked up, and saw a smiling girl looking at him. She was wearing a knee length grey skirt, black boots and a long red coat. She was average in height and has long, light brown hair and brown skin color.

Sorbey nodded.

"My name is Kiama, let's go".

Sorbey followed her silently. The girl was so energetic, and was talking nonstop.

"Mr. Suro gave me your room key, but first I will show you around the school, and tell you everything, you need to know.

Girls and boys live in different building, left side for girls, and right side for boys. The rooms further devided into seniors and juniors. Seniors live in upper building, and juniors live in lower building".

She pointed to building, which are outermost side of the school.

"Your room has been decided beforehand, you will live with a roommate. Your belongings are already in your room"

Kiama took Sorbey to different places to make him become familiar with the surrounding. She took him to a playground, which was really huge and marvellous. Then, she took him mess hall, which was endless and was divided into four different big compartments.

"The students here are devided into four house, ; Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. Yesterday night was the ceremony of choosing a house for newcomers.

You were not present, so our principal personally placed you in a Fire House, it's great honor that, our Grand Master personally put you into a house".

"I'm one class senior than you, and in Water house. The most famous house is yours, Fire house. You will learn more about your house in the future and, about our school. Your roommate is also from Fire house, and the building is also belongs to Fire house where you'll live, you will meet very interesting people there . First time you'll feel unfamiliar and weird but, eventually you'll like it here very much".

Kiama was giving Sorbey lot of encouragement to start his new school life and Sorbey was grateful for it. After coming to Bridge Mountain, Sorbey felt that, most people here are more kind and generous.

After walking to a boys living area, and walking in front of a three big building, they arrived front of a Fire building, which was colored in fire colors. After they entered the building, climbing lot of stairs, they both arrived in front of long corridor, after walking some distance Kiama stopped front of a door.

"Room no. 103, this is your room, get some rest, you will attend classes from tomorrow. After some time classes will end and your roommate will arrive, and he'll tell you everything, you wants to know, I also have class to attend, it was our free period, so Mr. Suro asked me to guide you, so, I am leaving now".

Kiama handed key to Sorbey, and after walking some steps she paused, and looked again and said,

"Everyone here is super friendly, except some, so, don't be shy and be more open, I noticed that you don't talk much, ...don't worry you'll like it here very much".

After saying that she left.

Sorbey really didn't have much people around him from childhood so, he became non-talkative over time, and doesn't talk until it is necessary.

When Sorbey entered the room he saw, a small hall, with some chairs, a table and neatly arranged books, the hall was really simple. There was three door attached to a hall. Sorbey checked first door, it was locked, he assumed that, it is his roommate's room. He checked second door, it was normal sized bathroom, then he opened third door and entered the room.

The room has one bad, and a bookshelf and Sorbey's belongings, which were transported here with magic.

For next two hours, Sorbey cleaned the room and adjusted his things, Sorbey didn't have much stuffs with him to begin with, it was mostly cleaning that took time.

Yesterday, Mr. Hail brought Sorbey to the market, the market was beautifully decorated and crowded. Sorbey didn't wanted to worry Mr. Hail much, that's why, he brought few things for himself, and most importantly, he brought some beautiful decoration objects. Sorbey always liked beautiful creatures and objects from when he remember, always collecting beautiful things and decorating his place wuth them, it makes him happy.

Sorbey decorated his room with the things he brought, and with some beautiful stones, which he collected recently from a river.

After coming to Bridge Mountain, Sorbey saw beautiful places, people with beautiful dresses and jewellery, no one was poor here. Sorbey never left his village until now, his village was his small world and he never knew that, the life outside of his village will be this big and different. Most of the villagers were poor and farmer there.

After coming to a Bridge Mountain, Mr. and Mrs. Hail were really kind to Sorbey, they provided him food, clothes and a place to live. Sorbey always felt uncomfortable to receive this kindness for free, so, he always helped them with household work.

Sorbey selected cheapest clothes for himself to wear, but still the clothes were the newest and expensive he ever wore, he always wore old and tattered clothes in his village, that's why, he was grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Hail and wants to repay their kindness in the future.

After finally finishing, the room looked really beautiful and lively. Sorbey bathed for almost an hour after that, and decided to rest for some time. After drying his hair Sorbey slept peacefully in his new room.
