Chapter 31 A Bet

Tyrus stared at the man coldly. He was like a cold hunter, staring at the prey that was about to die.

Yosef was not afraid and sneered, "The expression in your eyes tells me that you aren't convinced.

"Humph! Don't say that I bully you. This is Preston's place. I will show him some respect!"

Then, Yosef pointed at the gambling table not far away. "I will give you a chance. Let's bet. If I win, this woman and necklace will be mine!"

A hint of seriousness flashed through Tyrus' eyes, but he had learned a lot from what Yosef said.

Dixon was the richest man in Sky-sea City. He was one of the most influential people in the city. He was on bad terms with Preston, so he asked Tyrus to attend the auction on his behalf. In other words, Preston was not weaker than Dixon in the city.
