Ch : 3 The lost boy (3)

While the two sect leaders were fighting,a shadow was lurking in the distance and watching them.

"Dou wan, you have attacked my sect and have been trying to destroy my sect, We, the nine hammered sect will fight you to death." said the nine hammered sect's leader.

"Lei yuan, You think I don't know anything about it? Your sect has been harassing and invading my sect. You dare to say that I attacked your sect first?" said the Dou wan.

Lei yuan instantly appeared in front of the Dou wan and attacked him. Dou wan was surprised at the site and tried to block the attack.

"It's not easy to block my attacks,Dou wan." shouted the Lei yuan.

Dou wan was being pushed back by Lei yuan when he suddenly raised his sword high and swung it down swiftly. From the sword , a blade of energy fired itself at Lei yuan with high speed. Lei yuan was like a broken kite thrown to the ground. Because of him being flung to the ground, the floor cracked, and a rift was opened.

Lei yuan got up and said angrily, "I didn't want to use it, but you leave me no choice." then he took a pill. The pill took effect instantly and his veins started to bulge out like they were on verge of bursting from the energy containing inside.

Just as Dou wan was about to attack him, Lei yuan disappeared. "He disappeared! Did he run away? No, with his nature he will not run away even in the face of death. Then…." just as he was thinking, a shallow cut got on his neck.

"??????" Dou wan was confused from where the attack came.

"Dou wan, you can't even think about it, I have been preparing for this day for decades." Lei yuan was smiling in his mind.

Dou wan understood that Lei yuan took something and became extremely fast that he couldn't see him. "It looks like you have been preparing for today as well." thought dou wan.

"?????" he got confused because The enemy was lying in front of him, so where did this attack come from?

Both of them started to look for the clues about where the dagger came from.

"Who is it come out , it's meaning less to hide." said the lei yuan while looking at a tree in distance.

A middle-aged man came out from behind the tree. "My lord…" said the man.

"Ha hahaha , Lei yuan it's a bit unexpected, but this is how your life will be taken.Ha hahaha" the Dou wan was overjoyed at the man's appearance.

"You think that something like this can kill me? You are a fool to think that it can kill me." lei yuan said to the middle-aged man.

"Of course I know that , but it was never meant to kill you." said the man.

"!!!" Lei yuan was shocked.

"You can't move, right ? That was coated with the best paralyzing poison." the man approached him.

"Who are you? How dare you try to kill me? Do you know who I am ?" Lei yuan said arrogantly.

"It's not use, you think I tried to kill you without knowing who you are, or what is your background? I know everything about you." said the man.

"Then you should know who is my backer, yet you still dare to attack me?" asked Lei yuan.

"It doesn't matter who is your backer." said the man.

"You can't kill me, An ant like you dare to kill me?" said the Lei yuan angrily. The man was unaffected by Lei yuan's anger and beheaded him.

"Haha, good, very good. Who are you ? Tell me your name, and you will be rewarded generously by this seat." said Dou wan, who was overjoyed.

"My lord, my name is Orpheus. I have been serving in the sect for about fifteen years now." said the man while kneeling down.

"Help me get up." Dou wan ordered him.

"At your command, my lord." the man approached Dou wan and started to help him.

"What was your name, you said? Orp… Orpheus? As long as I know, there is not a single person known as Orpheus in my sect." Dou wan asked with some doubt.

"It's natural that you haven't heard of me. After all, I never entered your sect with this name." said the man.

"What do you mean?" Dou wan was taken aback.

"I said I never entered the sect with this name. After all, it would be obvious to be discovered with this name." said the man.

"Who are you? What do you want?" dou wan started to panic.

"My name is Orpheus Lucial. As for what I want ? I want to kill you." the man stabbed him in the stomach. Dou wan was startled but couldn't dodge the attack. Dou wan looked at him.

"Don't look at me like that." said the man like he saw something disgusting. Dou wan looked at him with bloodshot eyes.

"Why did I do this? Is this what you want to ask?" asked the man.

"Do you remember that night? The night you took everything from me." said the man with endless bloodlust.

"What…night?" dou wan was having difficulty to speak.

"Haha, it's obvious you don't remember it. Then do you remember Arnold Lucial? The man and his family that you killed to succeed the throne of sect leader. He… was… my father." the man said.

"Arn…old…" Dou wan said. He was breathless.

"I have been lurking in your sect for fifteen years, waiting for this day. Do you understand it? You took everything from me just to succeed as sect leader! You killed my parents,my sister, even my master just for the sect leader's throne. Do you think that it was your property? You killed my father so that you can ascend to the throne that my father was supposed to get and even when he gave up his throne ,you still chased after him and killed all of his family." the man was speaking aggressively.

"This is the result of your killing, those innocent and pure souls, they will be freed from your hand when you die so just die ....." the man slashed dou wan's throat.

It started to rain. The rain fall and a man stood alone in the middle of the forest. After a long time, the man started to walk in one direction and vanished in the dark forest.

In an unknown place stood a throne and a man sitting on that throne.

A shadow came and reported, "My lord, the work is done."

"Very good,bring him." Said the man sitting on the throne.

"My lord , He vanished after the work was done. Do you want us to go after him?" replied the shadow.

"Well, it is indeed like him. There is no need for you to look for him. What about the other work?" asked the man.

"My lord, others are keeping an eye on it." reported the shadow.

"Good, as soon as it is done , inform me." said the man.

"Yes, my lord." replied the shadow.

On top an unknown mountain stood four tombstones. The wind was blowing slowly when a man came from afar.

The man came and knelt down in front of the tombs. "Mother,father,sister,master I avenged you. He is dead. The oath that I made back then is now complete." whispered the man.

"Now I can finally rest." man thought.

After a long night, a body was found on that mountain lying down under a tree.

"Grandpa, I want to be like that man too, punishing the evil and rewarding the good." the child said.

"Haha , you can. If you want to be like that man, then go to mother and sleep well, alright?" the old man said.

"Yes, grandpa." said the child.

"Take him and go to sleep. We will come sometime later." said the old man.

A woman took the child and left.

"Is that story really true, father?" a man came and asked.

"I don't know,this story was something that your grandfather told me when I was little." Said the old man.

The man left, and the old man was alone. The old man sighed and looked at the moon and said, "I don't know if this story is real or not, but one thing I know, that there really were those sects five hundred years ago on this land. And one day those sects were destroyed overnight. May be father was right, He really returned where he came from, and his tales were passed down as 'The Lost Boy'."

Somewhere in an unknown realm,A boy opened his eyes and from those eyes scarlet light could be seen clearly.,
