LEVEL 1 DUNGEON

A world dungeon. A dungeon full of who knows what. Is it full of creatures who lurks in the dark? Is it a place where darkness is best defined? Can anyone survive inside it? So many questions that have yet to be answered. Except for one.

The World System. The one responsible for it's appearance. No one yet again knows where it came from. The event that transpired was all too sudden. The project it came with. 'THE CHANGES'

Just in those two words. One can understand what it meant. Be it physically seen or not. The changes are not difficult to see. One for instance are the mutated animals. They of course, are very rare to encounter. But the Dungeon can be said different.

Level 1. To others, this level is may seem simply easy. But those who knew more. Thought different. The Dungeon itself is a mystery.

Despite the warnings some decided to come and see. Curious little creatures they are, they all still felt the aura of death on it. Those who were brave enough to enter did not came back out. This news brought terror to everyone. Governments banned anyone from even getting close to it. For if one is seen they would be arrested ammediately.

Outside, just at the entrance. We see two people standing.

" Are you sure this is a good idea? "

Elena asked. Feeling the aura around it making her wary.

Alisha only glanced at it and nods her head.

" We'll be fine. Besides if we're in danger then I can just teleport us both out. "

Alisha reassured Elena. Though the latter was still cautious. She believed in Alisha's skills. Steeling her nerves and following behind closely.

( A little flashback )

After their conversation. Alisha was satisfied at the result for she has gotten what she needed.

You see before they came to the Pendragon household. Alisha was sent a message by the 'World System' .

What she read was;

> 1/10 Missions: Enter the Level 1 Dungeon.

> Reward: First to see the inside and may take any resource material in it.

> For further information, must enter the Dungeon first.

>Chances of death: 0.01%

At first Alisha thought that the 'system' was merely trying to tempt her and would lead her to her death. But after thinking about it and seeing the chances of deaths. She decided to give it a go. Thus leads her to Elena's house. Alisha needed resource to explore the place. Of course she could have done it herself but she did not want to go alone when there might be something she can give to Elena. Yes she decided on making Elena tag along with her. Her curiousity knows no bound so she needs someone to at least reprimand her when things go south. The only person who can knock senses into her would be Elena.

( Little Flashback End )

Now that they're inside, only one word could describe what they both feel. Eerie.

The whole place was quiet. No noise could be heard. Not even footsteps. The place was also dark. No sign of light anywhere.

The two stuck close with each other. Afraid something might ambush them and worse seperate them. They did not want that to happen. Not a chance, Alisha would not let it happen.

" Why are you so calm right now? "

Elena asked, slightly trembling while looking around. Trying to see anything. Yet failed to.

Alisha silently looked at her through the darkness while holding her close. Why was she calm? That is because, After entering the entrance. Alisha recieved the rewards and got another mission.

This is what she got;

> 1/10 Mission: Complete

> Rewards: Allowed to take anything the host takes interest in.

>Extra Reward: Access to Space Magic

That's right. She got Space Magic and if Alisha understands what the space magic can do, teleportation would fall into it's category. Why does she knows? Because after she got the reward, information invaded her mind. Information on the concept space and how to use it. Coupled with her very active brain, she would be able to figure out the rest.

She also noticed that some messages doesn't get announced to the whole world. Thus she came to a conclusion that the system wants her to do something by giving her the side missions. That is what she calls them but they were more like Quests that needed to be complete in order to fully grasped the needed concept. And maybe the reason on behind all.of it.

Back to the dungeon. The two walks in silence until they heard a low growl coming from the left. Both tried to see what that was but could not do so as the place was still enveloped in total darkness. Except for Alisha who has night vision. Together with her enhanced senses. She was able to see the creature that made the sound. And what she saw was something different than the demon bear she fought back then.

The creature had wings. Red bat wings to be exact. It had a body of a human but it's head was of a bat. Kind of like a fusion of both different kinds. Alisha had an idea on what it might be but decided to dwell on it later. Now was not the time be curious. She remembered that bats are able to locate using sound. Alisha hushed Elena and told her not to move. Not even a gasp nor tiny steps.

Alisha was different. She did not walk, no- she flew. She did not see the need to walk if she can fly herself. Her feet did not touch the ground. The theory or guess that she came up with, was that if the bat was on ground that means it's ability is limited to an area, not a wide one. Humans have weak hearing and that must have hindered the bat's ability making it less effective. Yes Alisha figured out that it was a mutation between a human and bat. That was all she knew-no, figured out using her brain in such a short time.

Silently floating above the bat-man(literal). What she calls it. Alisha decided to end it fast as staying any longer would be bad. Who knows what creatures still lingers in the darkness and how many of them. Heading straight to the neck. She makes a swift and fast slicing motion to which her knife successfully connects. Therefore beheading the bat-man without even giving it to comprehend what happened. It's head fell with a loud thud, surprising Elena. There were no other noise than that. Making Alisha sigh in relief as there seems to be nothing else other than the bat-man.

Her thoughts unknown to Elena as the said girl calls out in panic. However, stopped as she felt Alisha's hands on her. She had thought that something might have happened to her. Elena would blame herself for it and Alisha did not want that.

" Let's continue "

Elena nodded as Alisha made a small fire on her hands to light the way. Elena saw a figure on her left but decided to ignore it.

Walking further they stumbled upon stairs. Both went down on it and what they found at the end was a room. Inside was shining. Literally shining as the whole room was filled with some sort of crystals. The same as the one they found on the demon bear except it was not red but gray. The whole room looked like a jewelry store.

They decided to take some with them and as they came out, a message appeared before Alisha's face.

> 2/10 Mission: Kill a monster inside the dungeon.

> Rewards: Room filled with empth cores. Completed the First Floor.

What Alisha read made her eyes wide and stopping her movement. Elena who saw this stopped as well.

" What's wrong? Did we forget something? "

Alisha shook her head to get rid of unnecessary thoughts and reassured Elena.

" No, it's nothing. Let's get out of here "

Elena relunctantly followed. She still had a frown on her face but seeing as Alisha does not want to talk about it. She will have to drop the subject but!- she will make Alisha tell her later.

Unbeknownst to the two. The First Floor of the Dungeon had lit up. And another 'World System' message was announced.

> Congratulaions on clearing the First Floor of the Level 1 Dungeon.

> Rewarding the title 'Dungeon Clearer' .

Only one question filled everyones' minds.

Who would possibly be able to complete that dungeon?!?!
