BACK TO OLD SELF?

Alisha showed Elena the things no normal human could do. And she was proud to say that she has successfully made Elena's interest grow more. Elena would not stop asking questions about her power. And she happily answered them. The day ended with them making a promise to make it a secret. They both wouldn't want to know what happens when someone found out.

Tuesday. The day where bestfriends hang out. It was the day both, Alisha and Elena, decided to make it as 'bestfriend hangout' day. Alisha did not mind. She likes to spend time with Elena. Same goes to Elena.

So here they are. Walking side by side inside a mall. The place was full of students. Tuesday was the day where students can relax. It's mostly like a day-off. Elena was energetic as always. Alisha with a stoic face.

Elena dragged her in a clothing store. On the way, people could not help but look and glance at them. Being attractive n' all.

They were enjoying their time. Elena picked a lot of outfits. Alisha was the judge, whether the clothes look good or not. But it didn't really matter as Elena looked good in everything she wears. Alisha believed that even if she wears a rag it would no doubt still be beautiful. Her friend was really beautiful. She could not help but be jealous of the one who she chooses.

Elena watched as her friend's expression go from happy, to proud, then to gloomy. She wondered what was going on inside her friend's head. She was about to call out but got interrupted when screams were suddenly heard. Everyone around them wondered what was happening. In the central of the mall. There stood. A bear. No it looks like a bear. The only difference is that. It has horns. About 10cm long. It's fur was completely black. Red streak covering it's body. Signs of blood. The claws were 2m long, red liquid flows through it. Eyes red, as if inraged. Teeth sharp like the claws.

*Roooooooaaaaaar*

It released an earth shattering roar. Making people more panicked. Except for two.

Alisha and Elena stood still. Both watching the beast, as it rampage it's way through the people. Dead bodies laying on the cold ground. Cries of agony and fear were heard everywhere. But none of it bothered them. Elena look to her left. Alisha had those eyes again. The eyes of someone curious. She grinned.

" Do you want to know? "

Alisha stopped looking at the beast and towards Elena instead. Elena had a smirk on her lips. Alisha knew what that meant. So without futher a do, she mirrored the smirk on Elena's and walked to the bear. Getting closer. Making her presence known. Taking the bear's attention. They had a stare down for a full minute. Before the bear attacked first. Alisha eyed the bear in wonder. She can tell it's physical attributes are far higher than a normal bear. A bear and something unknown. Grinning, she dodged the incoming attack as her eyes lit up in curiosity. The bear seemingly frustrated, let out a low growl. It then attacked Alisha on the sides. Alisha not expecting the bear to grow fast could not dodge in time. As she was sent to a wall. The wall had cracks on it. Indicating that the attack was heavy. So if a normal human would get hit, they would have died on the spot. However, Alisha was not normal. Despite her clothes being torn. She still stood up with no difficulty. Eyes of curiousity made the bear wary. It can tell that the human girl is not normal by all means. With a roar, he charged again. This time aiming for her shoulder blade. Alisha who saw this did not make a move. Of course this made the bear confused. Thus it's attack hesitated. And that was the only thing Alisha waited. In a battle you must not lose focus. Take every chance you get before the enemy get's away. And that's what the bear did. It hesitated, giving Alisha an opening. She shifted her left shoulder back. So her side was now facing the bear. Not giving any chances she pulled her right foot and striked the bears left head. The impact made the bear a little dizzy. Continuing her attack. She then punched the bear's stomach. Creating a hole on it. The bear was confused at first but when it finally realised. It was already too late. The corpse collapse on the floor. Alisha went closer to the body and strectched out her right hand. She wanted to experiment on something. Her curiousity got the better of her. She would need to examine the body later. Since it's structure was clearly different from the ordinary.

Elena watched her friend battle with the bear. Apparently the bear was some kind of mutated. Elena was smart as Alisha. She did not need to take that long to know. She watched as the bear managed to caught Alisha off guard and successfully pulled off an attack. She watched Alisha being sent to the wall with so much force. Yet she was still relaxed. Elena knew what Alisha was capable of. She did not see the need to interfere. So she let her. She let Alisha fight the bear with curious eyes. Quirking a brow. Elena smiled. It seems that the old Alisha is back. That's good. Watching the fight end, she saw Alisha outsretched her hand. By the time she was on Alisha's side. She watched the bear's corpse disappear. It was like from the video games. Elena heard Alisha mutter something under her breath. But she could not hear it. What surprised her more though was that a robotic voice resounded the whole place. No it was more like the whole world.

There was only one thought both had;

A demon bear?!?

Both were gobsmacked at what they heard. A demon. One from those clearly made up stories and obviously video games. Both looked at each other. Shock etched on their faces. This made one thing clear. Alisha having those powers and along with the demon bear. That means that the world is changing. More of these kinds are out there. But does that also mean that humans will also change? If so will they get powers enough to at least damage or maybe kill these monsters? Although Alisha was shocked, she soon got out of it. Looking towards Elena, she can tell that she's still shocked. Who wouldn't?

Her curiousity was getting out of hand. She needed to fill the thirst she felt. And sooner the better. But there was still some other things to note of. She looked down at her hands. Inside was the corpse. She saw one time at a video game. How the players sucked in the items inside their palms. Something like a storage. Of course she did not think it would work. She was skeptical about it. Yet she still tried and the result was shocking and satisfying. That means that she can somehow control space.
