The new Job 2

Nelly came back and discovered that she already had five missed calls. 

"What could mum be calling me for? Why is she calling me by this time of the night?" Nelly thought

She was about to call her back when her phone began to ring.

"I think I should pick her call," Nelly thought.

"Hello, mum! How are you? Hope you are fine? How is dad doing?" Nelly asked curiously

"My daughter! I've been calling you but your number is not going through.

  Hope you are fine too? I and your dad missed you. I understand what you did if it is what will give you joy, I support it. But just be coming to check on us till you get married" she said.

"Thanks, mum! I just got a job which I will resume for tomorrow" Nelly announced happily.

"Wow! That is good. But how are you coping? Do you have enough to eat and drink? " she asked with concern.

"I'm fine, I still have little money with me" Nelly replied.
