(Matthew's POV)
Tiny feet step on my nuzzle causing me to sneeze.
My eyes slowly open as it adjusts to the sunlight spilling in through the cave entrance.
I stand on my paws and stretch with a quiet yawn.
I take my clothes in between my teeth and make my way out of the cave.
The morning breeze soothes my fur, literally and figuratively, as I start to jog through the forest, slowly picking up speed.
Once the edge of the forest comes into view, I stop and transform back to my human form. I put on my clothes from last night and make my way out of the forest with a false sense of confidence.
I strutted through the pack with firm strides, nodding at the pack members who were able to snap out of their surprise to greet me.
I can feel the stares and glares thrown my way but I ignore them, lest I fold in on myself and look weak.
