Seeing this, Gao He pleaded in fear, "Brother Hao, Brother Wu, please give me a chance. I didn't recognize the sister-in-law. Give me a chance to make amends."

"You can make amends in hell," Zhong Long roared, grabbing a bloody knife and aiming for Gao He's eyes.

Suddenly, there were two swift whooshing sounds. Gao He's body was violently thrown against the wall once more.

Everyone looked down in shock. They saw two silver knives pinning Gao He's collarbones to the wall.

Gao He screamed in agony, his arms hanging limp.

The person who threw the knives was none other than Ye Fengwu.

Li Gou was the most stunned. He hadn't seen how Ye Fengwu made his move, but he was more shocked by the strength and precision of the throws. He knew he couldn't achieve that.

Zhong Long and the others halted, looking at Ye Fengwu.

At this moment, Ye Fengwu finally looked at Qin Qinghan. In a low, grave voice, he asked, "Why? Why did you come here? Did you ever think about the consequences of walking into this room?"

Qin Qinghan lowered her head in bitterness and replied, "I had no choice, and... we are no longer connected."

A loud thud echoed through the room as Ye Fengwu's palm smashed down on the sturdy marble table, shattering it into pieces.

Everyone was stunned, especially Li Gou, who tightened his muscles in fear.

Everyone immediately understood. Qin Qinghan must have been forced to come here, as she had hidden a weapon on her.

Seeing the scissors, Ye Fengwu felt both heartache and relief. At least she wasn't here willingly.

Tears streamed down Qin Qinghan's face. She was terrified and couldn't look at Ye Fengwu, unsure if he would harm her.

Ye Fengwu spoke again, "If you don't have the ability to protect yourself, don't put yourself in danger repeatedly. You're not a foolish woman, so why do you keep making such foolish decisions?"

Qin Qinghan's tears flowed even more. "I already told you, I had no choice."

Hearing about the billion-dollar ring, Qin Qinghan realized Ye Fengwu knew the ring had been switched. She bit her lip and said, "I will return the ring to you, and besides, we have no relationship anymore."

Ye Fengwu was even more disappointed. So the ring had indeed been switched by her.
