CHAPTER 15: Love At First Sight.

^^ MELROSE AVENUE>S&M RESIDENCE ^^

"Is this where you live?" Dexter asked when they arrived there.

"No,my friends. Sana and Mina" She replied simply.

"You mean your two crazy friends?" Dexter asked and rolled eyes,Annika she did too.

Due to the heavy rain,she had to stay and wait a little for it to reduce before leaving,cos Dexter insisted.

So,she rested well on the chair,and closed her eyes,cutely.

Meanwhile, Dexter had been staring at her beautiful sleepy face,though she wasn't sleeping. But her eyes were closed.

"How can she be this beautiful yet,full of trouble and craziness?" Dexter blurted,still staring at her.

~ Dexter,what are you doing? ~

His subconscious mind asked,as he was still staring.

He got back to his senses immediately,but he couldn't get his eyes off her until Annika opened her eyes and caught him staring.

"Stop staring at me before I pluck out your eyes" Annika grinned,and Dexter widened his eyes.

"Witch!" He muffled,but Annika heard her.

"Jerk!" She said too,and eyed him.

"Thanks for the ride,Disaster"She said,as she opens the door.

"You're not welcomed, Annika Wrong"Dexter replied her,and chuckled inwardly for no reason.

"I need to see my doctor,I think I'm going crazy" Dexter said as he stares at her.

"I can't believe Disaster insisted on dropping me off. Since when did he become Mr nice guy?

"Humph! Quite funny" She laughed shortly.

She walked to the door,and gave it a soft knock

She knocked twice,and on the third one,the door was opened.

She gave a sigh of relief the moment the door creaked open because she thought her friends won't be home,probably still at work. She even tried calling,but it didn't go through due to the bad weather.

"Sugar pie!" Sana called excitedly,but was surprised to see Annika though.

"Surprise...." Annika dragged,giggling.

"You didn't tell us you were coming" Sana said.

"I should start going back then" Annika said,turned and pretended to leave.

"What!? Are you crazy? Get in here,silly" Sana said,and pulled her in,while they started laughing.

"Sugar pie,you're wet" Sana said,feeling her wet clothes.

"Yeah,boo. They aren't that wet though" Annika smiled.

"True,but come change into something else before you catch a cold" Sana said,holding her by the hand.

"Wait,is Mina not back yet?" Annika asked,looking around.

"Seems you've forgotten that Mina is a foodie. She got back not quite long,but in the kitchen right now,scavenging" Sana said,and Annika started laughing.

"Boo boo!" Annika shouted,so Mina can hear her.

"Sweetheart.....!" She screamed from inside immediately she heard Annika's voice.

She then ran out with the plate of food in her hand,looking funny.

Sana and Annika looked at each other and bursted out laughing.

"Laugh all you want,as long I have my food with me,I won't get angry" She said,and they laughed again.

"How are you sweetheart?" She asked,scooping the food into her mouth,while they walked into Sana's room.

"I am okay,boo" Annika simply replied.

"I am surprised to see you though" Mina continued,as she sat on the bed.

"I just came to see you ladies,jeez!" Annika scoffed.

"We are happy to see you sugar pie" Sana replied and handed her a tracksuit.

"Perfect for the weather. Thanks,boo boo" Annika smiled,as she collects it from her.

She stripped herself right there,and changed up.

"Hope today's work wasn't stressful?" Sana asked.

"It was,the work has always been. Reason why I couldn't leave before the rain started" Annika sighed.

"Aww,CEO Dexter wants to finish our baby with work" Mina pouted.

"That jerk" Annika chuckled,and they did too.

"When you two finally start getting along,it'd be worth celebrating" Sana said and they all laughed.

"You won't believe who showed up today out of nowhere" Annika said.

She collected the food from Mina and began eating.

"Hey,my food!" Mina shouted immediately.

"Shut up" She shut Mina up.

"Yes,mom" Mina replied,and kept shut just as Annika asked her to,while Annika and Sana laughed at her.

"So,who showed up?" Mina started talking again.

"Roland" She replied sharply.

"Wait, what?!!

"Roland your boyfriend...?

"Ex boyfriend you mean" Sana quickly cut in.

"Yeah,ex. But they never broke up,yunno" Mina said.

"Well,he suddenly disappeared like the star that was leading the three wise men,and never showed up till now" Sana rolled eyes.

"That jerk that you loved so much. What did he say,what did you say too?" Mina asked.

"We didn't get to talk,I was so shocked to see him. Like,he unexpectedly showed up out of the blues.

"He's even Dexter's brother" Annika said,smiling.

"Dexter's what?" They both chorused.

"Seriously,even I was surprised to know they are brothers" Annika said.

She ate more from the food while her friends stared at her,funnily.

"Why are you smiling so much,and you aren't even angry he's back.

"Are you still in love with him?" Mina asked,and Annika paused eating.

"I don't know.....Just when I was trying to get him off my mind,then he just resurfaced.

"I'm just so confused right now. I think I still....love him" Annika replied slowly.

"I understand you,sugar pie,it's not so easy.

"And we can't judge him yet,since he has not said why he just left like that" Sana said,calmly.

Annika smiled,and continued eating.

"I'm actually looking for an apartment,boo boos" She said.

"Why are you looking for an apartment when we are here?" Mina said,looking at Sana.

"No,I want to stay alone. Just me and my Anni" Annika replied,and they laughed.

"We'll help you find one,Anni's mom" Sana said,and she chuckled.

KLEIN'S WINERY COMPANY>NEXT DAY

"Good morning,sir" Spencer greeted when he met Dexter on his way to his Office.

"Good morning. Any good news?" He asked with his usual serious and proud looks.

"Yes,sir. I think we've gotten enough wine makers. I have done an interview,and they are already in the factory to start work" Spencer said with a smile on his face.

"Good,I will be there in a jiffy to see them all" Dexter said,and walked away.

^^ AN HOUR LATER>FACTORY^^

Dexter walked into the factory to see who his new employees are.

He folded his arms behind his back and handsomely walked to them.

The moment Lira landed her eyes on Dexter,she almost lost her balance.

"He's freaking hot,and handsome. I'm in love with him" She said, her eyes not leaving Dexter's body.

👥 Good morning, sir.

👥Welcome,sir.

👥Had no idea he's this hot.

👥He looks like an arrogant person

👥His clean looks for me,my gawd! Just my spec.

The workers, especially the new ones who hadn't met dexter before, started murmuring.

Dexter rolled eyes, and scoffed when he caught Lira staring at him,stupidly.

He intentionally walked even closer to them,when Lira's stares became too much.

Lira smiled, adjusted her top and stood properly for Dexter to notice her well.

"What's your name?" Dexter asked, and smirked.

Lira was so happy,as if she should just melt like a candle.

"My name is Lira" She replied,quickly with a broad smile.

"Okay,so Lira.

"You're here to work,not to stare at me like a confused goat.....
