Sunny Night

Daniel doubts which one he will choose? Do what his heart wants? Or do it according to logic as before. His logic and heart are in a great clash tonight.

If Luna really likes him then what will happen next? Of course, all that will not go easily in the future.

Currently Luna is in front of him, making him no longer able to think which is a good choice.

"Are you feeling better? What do you need?"

"Yes I'm quite well now. May I come in?"

"Sure, why not?"

Tonight was going to be a long night for both of them. They had been sitting there for about fifteen minutes but there was only silence.

They both didn't know what they were going to say, only summing up their own thoughts in their hearts.

"What do you think of me?" Daniel's words broke the silence.

"Didn't I say it before? Even though you often say annoying things, you are actually a good person."

"I'm not a good person, I'm a bad person. It's just that you don't know it yet."

"How am I supposed to know if you always draw a line when we're getting one step closer?"

"Then if I remove the boundary line, will you accept me as I am?"

"Of course, I will."

"There are too many things that I fear to make a decision on this. It's different when I handle business matters, if the business fails I can look for another opportunities. But not with matters of heart, I only want to love one person during my life, because of that I don't want to fail. Before you realized your feelings, I already realized it but I deliberately brushed it off. I realized that I wasn't good enough for you."

"How can you conclude that yourself without even asking me first? Isn't that the most important thing is my answer? In fact, you are now good enough for me. But I feel that I shouldn't get in between you and your fiancé."

Daniel held his chuckle when he heard Luna's misunderstanding, "Lemme get it straight, because of my parents' past, I was betrothed to her by my grandfather. But I don't agree at all, so we can say that our matchmaking is not official. I just want to marry the person that I love, my feelings for her are only family from afar, nothing more."

"Then how do you feel about me?"

"I-I like you as an employee and as a woman. If I choose to go along with my feelings, I want to have you. But I'm not a good person. I use humans for various things."

"Isn't the world always like that? The strong rule and take advantage of the weak. That's normal."

"You're only justifying me right now because of your feelings. That's the nature of how people feel when they're in love. But as time goes on you'll get to know me better and then when you're regret it, you just realize that you've gone too deep to be able to come back. Therefore, it's better to stop here before it's too late."

"We haven't even started anything yet, but you've asked to stop. Isn't it something worth fighting for?"

Daniel took a deep breath, he didn't know how to make Luna give up, "What should I do with you now? You're so stubborn."

"Lemme cross the distance line that you made. Lemme get to know you better, don't be in a hurry, it's okay. Because I'm sure there must be a strong reason for you to build this high wall."

Feeling bewitched by the words that Luna had just said, there was a warmth that welled up in his cold heart. She seemed to know very well the suffering that Daniel had gone through. Daniel's doubts and fears suddenly dissolved into the darkness of the night. Daniel slowly rested his head on Luna's shoulder.

"You know what? Everything you do and say just completes me. It's as if you were created to fill my long-standing void. I don't know if I should be happy or sad right now."

"Transfer that burden to my shoulders. Just for tonight, try to be as happy as your heart has always wanted." Luna stroked Daniel's head which was still leaning on his shoulder gently.

"You won't be strong even for a moment to endure it. Look, my palms and yours are very different in size."

"Do this and that have the same context? Even though my body is smaller than yours, my strength is as great as yours, so don't underestimate me."

Daniel chuckled. Then he threw his head into Luna's lap, making Luna remember what happened earlier at the office.

"It seems you have a hobby of sleeping on a woman's lap, don't you?" Luna quipped, Daniel immediately laughed out loud knowing Luna was a vengeful person.

"I thought you wanted me to make you a pillow like this too. Don't you?" hearing Daniel's words just now, Luna held Daniel's head trying to get him out of Luna's lap. But he grabbed Luna's hand, signaling her not to do that and explained that misunderstanding, “I was only joking, you are an outspoken person. Because of the effect of the medicine I became sleepy. At first I fell asleep sitting up. Then it seems like she purposely moved me onto her lap while I was sleeping.

"Speaking of medicine, why only David and Ariella have it? Why do you, the sick person, not have the medicine to carry around with you?"

"I also want to have medicine that I can take whenever I'm sick. But for now it seems impossible for me to have it. I still want to be with you."

"You say the same as what David said. And I don't understand both of you are answer at all. I asked David for an explanation, but he told me to ask you by myself."

"I can't answer your question right now. Because it will spoil the moment tonight. Will you wait for the right moment?"

"Okay if that's what you ask. What can I do? Besides, I'm sure there's a reason for everything."

"Yes you are right, everything has a reason. And this is one of the reasons why I like you, you don't demand much from me and try to understand me."
