Olivia's POV:
After he was done with the call, he extended his hand to me and I was confused. "The keys," he said and I quickly dropped them on his palms avoiding every possible way to touch him.
We walked out of the house to the parking lot, Mr. Bennett walked to the car and opened the door for me to get in. I sneered and opened the passenger seat before getting in, I knew he was going to get angry and probably yell but to my surprise he shot the door before walking to the driver seat and drove out.
I stared at the street lights with a heavy heart, this was supposed to be my honeymoon with Caleb but I never imagined things to turn out like this and with me ending up as Mr. Bennett's wife.
Minutes later, he parked the car in front of a huge restaurant…it was a five-star restaurant and had classic vibes…I didn't expect him to eat somewhere else.
He walked out of the car and we both got into the restaurant, I maintained a distance from him because I didn't want people to know I was his wife. After all, I will divorce him soon.
We found our way to the private section and I sighed in relief knowing no one could see us "Do you feel comfortable?" he asked and I rolled my eyes not talking to him.
Then a waitress walked in, her skirt was short compared to the other workers and her shirt exposed her cleavage, she also had a seductive smile when she walked towards us.
I glared at Mr. Bennett wondering if he got seduced by this lady but he was focused on his phone and didn't even spare the waitress a glance, she was too shameless and dared flaunt herself to a man, and even when he was with another lady.
Then an idea popped into my mind, if he cheated then this could be a good way for us to get a divorce. "Mr. Bennett" I called and he glared at me, the waitress stood there waiting for our order.
"I will use the restroom first," I said and he nodded, I needed to give them a chance to get along, but before leaving I activated the recorder in my phone before placing it on the table.
This was my chance, if he flirts with the waitress then I could use this as an opportunity to go back home and even ask for a divorce.
I found my way down a corridor guessing that the restroom was this way, I stopped on my track when I saw a waitress slapped hard across the face by a lady dressed in an elegant gown, she was tall and had short curly hair.
Why will she slap a waitress? I sighed knowing how ill-mannered the rich were, the lady noticed me glaring and she stared at me from head to toe before walking closer to me.
"Who let you in here?" she asked and I got confused.
"I…I am looking for the rest room" I stuttered and she sneered before staring at me with disgust.
"This restroom is meant for those in the VIP section, do low-class people not know how to read?" she asked angrily and I tried keeping my calm, she had judged me from my outfit, I wore a simple gown with no jewelry.
But she wasn't wrong, I was a low-class lady. Not to cause any trouble, I decided to leave when she held my wrist "Where are you going to?" she asked and I pushed her hands.
"Back to my table," I said and she seemed to have a problem with me being here.
"We are not on a discount today, so you better leave this restaurant…you can't afford a meal here," she said clearly and I frowned.
"And who are you to tell me that?" I asked angrily.
She waved at the waitress she slapped earlier who walked towards us with a small bucket of ice water "You didn't deliver the ice water and came to the restroom first, are staff allowed here?" she asked the waitress who shivered In fear with her head bowed.
"I am sorry" the waitress apologized.
This scene wasn't for me, I turned to leave when the lady held my hand again "I am not done talking" she said and I scoffed.
"But I am done listening, it is just a restroom so why do you make a fuss out of it" I scolded when she frowned before taking the bucket of ice water from the waitress and splashing it on me.
This was unexpected, I stood there soaked with ice water "This will help wash your tongue" she said before leaving.
I shivered in cold as tears rolled down my cheeks, why do the rich always think they have the right to do whatever they want?
I squeezed my wet gown but I felt cold and also couldn't stop crying. With a heavy heart, I returned to the table where Mr. Bennett glanced at me with furrowed brows.
"What happened?" he asked and I cried more, this was all his fault. Why did he have to bring a low-class person like me into a five-star restaurant?
"I am tired of you rich people thinking you can do anything to the less fortunate ones, Mr. Bennett just let me go" I scolded angrily when he glared at me angrily, I don't know if he was angry with me or someone else but I could feel the atmosphere became tense.
He stood up and held my hand "Let's go" he said and I tried pulling my hands from him when he held me closer to him with his hands encircled around my waist.
This was a sudden action as I never expected this "If you can't walk then I will carry you" he said and I shook my head in denial before picking up my phone as we walked out of the private section
I could feel people's gaze on us, after all, Mr. Bennett intimately held me and he was famous, I quickly buried my face in his chest not wanting anyone to see me.
Finally, we walked out of the restaurant and I got into the car when a man hurried towards us "Mr. Bennett, you are leaving?" the middle-aged man asked and I glared at Mr. Bennett's face as he stood tall with an angry and serious look.
He shot the door and turned towards the man, I couldn't hear their conversation but from the middle-aged man's reaction, it felt he had received a piece of bad news from him.
Without wasting time, he got into the car and drove out.
"Olivia, I am ready to give you everything you want. But don't ever ask me to let you go" he said and I glared at him angrily.
"Why? I don't love you, I love someone else" I blurted and he glared daggers at me.
"Then you will learn to love me" he added and I couldn't believe he would say such stupid words.
