Alex's POV:
If she was here organizing the board meeting, then it only meant she got a share either from one of the shareholders or from my father.
"Call her brother to come pick her up," I said, and Bruno nodded. I stood up and glared at my hand.
It still hurt slightly, but I had to work. I walked out of the office and went downstairs to the conference room. I walked in and saw the three shareholders of the company owning three, three, and four percent of the company shares.
Jenna, who was dressed in a short white gown, smiled at me, and I nodded before sitting at the head of the table.
"A meeting I wasn't informed about; I like the way you all rule my company," I said, and the board members smiled cheekily.
"It's an urgent meeting; I didn't want to bother you," she said, and I nodded.
"It seems my assistant isn't here, so get us some coffee," I said, and she frowned.
"I already have someone to do it."
