Nate Ardie.

"Yes we have a guest"Butler Zoe informed. A guest?

"A guest?"She asked.

"Yes"He replied.

She gently nodded. She really didn't want to go. She'd rather spend the whole day in this room playing the piano.

However,it won't be nice to send the guest away so she agreed. Rory followed butler Zoe and she made sure she marked the directions of the route to the piano room.

When they reached downstairs,she saw a handsome man with black hair and black eyes. He was wearing casual clothes and he looked about Daniel's age. The man had an aura that was powerful and aloof but he wasn't as cold has Daniel.

The man looked up and saw the darkest blue eyes staring at him with curiousity. Rory was carefully observing the man and the man was doing the same to Rory. His curiousity was piqued. Why was there a girl in Daniel's house? Daniel didn't like women. So who was she? Was she a friend? Of a relative of some sort? But Daniel didn't even like his mother visiting him. If he could do that to his mother then who was an outsider?

Noticing the deafening silence between the two,butler Zoe spoke up.

"Mr Ardie, Daniel would attend to you soon. He's currently busy. So in the meantime,why don't I introduce you two?"

"Rory,this is Mr Nate Ardie, Daniel's childhood friend and Mr Nate this is Aurora, Daniel's wife"He introduced them.

The moment but Mr Zoe introduced Rory,Nate almost had a heart attack.

"Wife?! When did Daniel get married?! Why wasn't I informed about this butler Zoe?!"Nate said with a tone filled with shock. This guy has never dated before and out of the blue he was married. He must be day dreaming.

Not minding his bewilderment,Rory walked forward and stretched her hand to shake him while saying,"Hello Mr Nate am Aurora but you can call me Rory.... If you want"

Nate's mouth was wide opened. He couldn't contain his shock. I mean who wouldn't be. Daniel was heartless and hated people to be around him. He never gave anyone face not even his own family and suddenly he got himself a wife. Was this some kind of joke?

Rory cleared her throat and Nate laughed out awkwardly. He was so busy with his thoughts that he forget Rory's hand was still hanging there. He composed himself and said,"Sorry"He accepted her handshake.

"You are Daniel's wife?" He asked her to confirm.

His expression seemed doubtful and she just chuckled. "Yes am Daniel's wife. Why do you look so shocked?"

His lips twitched. This girl looked like she was just 18 but was already someone's wife. But facing her question he became embarrassed. He had been so shocked by everything.

"Nothing."He said and Rory hummed.

"You must be hungry. Let me get some snacks"She told him.

As she was about to get some snacks,butler Zoe stopped her and said,"No need,I will go and get it"

She wasn't willing but she still sat down back. She wasn't used to this kind of treatment.

"So tell me,when did you two get married?"Nate probed.

"Oh a few days ago"She said lightly. "Thank you"She said to butler Zoe as he put down the snacks.

Nate almost puked out blood. A few days ago?! Rory sipped her tea calmly.

They both started talking about other things and they all had a lot of things to discuss. After talking to Rory for a while he finally eased up. He was initially worried that she might be a gold digger and harboured evil intentions towards Daniel but she seemed nice and especially adorable. And she didn't even know Daniel's identity.

Rory simply enjoyed his company and they instantly clicked. He told Rory a joke and she laughed out so loudly. Her cute dimples became so visible and her blue eyes became brighter. This was the scene Daniel came down and met. When he saw them being all chummy with each other,he froze. He narrowed his eyes. For some reason the fact that Nate made her laugh didn't sit right with him.

Both of them were so deep in their conversations that they didn't even feel Daniel's presence. Now Daniel emitted cold vibes. Nate and Rory stopped talking when they felt chilly. The living room was warm,so were was the cold coming from. Nate looked up and his black eyes looked with Daniel's grey cold eyes that were shooting daggers at him. 'Why is he staring at me like that?' Rory followed Nate's line of sight and her gaze landed on Daniel.

"Daniel you're done?"She asked enthusiastically. Seeing Daniel made her happy.

"Hmm"Daniel hummed. Daniel's frosty eyes became warm as he saw her smiling at him. His eyes landed on Nate and it became cold. Nate wanted to cry. His gaze on his wife was so gentle and warm but when he turned to him,his gaze was piercing cold.

"Why are you here?"He asked eyeing Nate.

"Why? Can't I visit my friend?"He retorted.

"Yes I see. You don't have anything to do right?"Daniel asked lazily and Nate became scared.

"What I mean is,I was just missing you,so I thought I should visit you"He retracted his response. Who dares to speak to Daniel Froster like that. He is the CEO of Froster Corp. The leading company in the world. It is most powerful company in the world. To top it off,he is the only son of the Froster family. The Froster family is the most influential family in the country. No one dared to mess with them.

Rory glanced at both Daniel and Nate before saying,"It seems like you guys have a lot of catching up to do,so I'll leave you guys"

"You don't have to leave"Daniel said. Aurora was his wife, anything they want to discuss she could also be a part of. She wasn't an outsider.

"No it's fine,I insist. Besides,I don't want to get in the way of your discussion"She persuaded.

Not waiting for Daniel to speak she immediately ran upstairs. Daniel just smiled at her childish behavior. She was really cute.
