The Villa
She opened her eyes and suddenly became cranky after waking up. She doesn't even have a good dream. Her whole body felt heavy and she glared at her husband who was still busy working while holding a remote controller for gaming. She yawned and stared at him. He slowly turned his head and smiled brightly.
"Why am I here?" She asked.
"Why not? I missed you, that's why."
"Seriously? Did something happen?"
"Nothing serious." He said, like a promise. She still hesitated that he was telling the truth. "It's almost dinner time. Are you hungry?"
She sat up and noticed the tray that has small microchips on it.
"What's that?"
"Some devices that I need to review." He said and continued with working his robots while controlling them. "Just a moment, love." He whispered and pressed his headphones on. "Alpha, Alpha, do you copy?"
"Roger," Kenzo answered.
