Marriage (2)

Prussia, July 28th 1803

9:36 AM

Lukas was in the carriage that was going to take him to the church where he and Nathalie were finally going to get married.

Lukas calmly read a book in his carriage as the vehicle naturally went through its way without major troubles.

Soon, however, Lukas's focus on his book was interrupted by Elias's voice.

"Are you going to keep reading that book once the ceremony is over?" Elias asked while looking at him.

Lukas frowned slightly. "Of course not," he replied.

Elias immediately nodded his head in understanding. "Okay, okay. It's good that you weren't thinking to do it," he said.

After that, Lukas just shrugged it off before getting back to reading his book.

Meanwhile, Freida, who was sitting beside Elias, and across Lukas, turned her head to the brown-haired man, however, she soon looked away from him.

After a while, the carriage finally stopped, and everyone could leave.
