Battle Simulation (6) - Confrontation

Austria, October 21st 1800

11:23 PM

Lukas and almost everyone else of the offensive unit were sleeping in the cave. They had managed to, somehow, make the hard, cold floor of the cave more comfortable by using leaves and some moss.

The shifts had been split this way: 5 guards kept watch over the surroundings. After 3 hours, they switched with other 5 people.

One of the boys yawned. "Hey, Jamal, what time is it now?" he asked.

Jamal, a second-year boy who seemed to have a promising future eyed his watch. He was the only one who had had the idea to bring one to the simulation. Even Lukas hadn't had that idea, surprisingly.

Jamal looked at the third-year boy who had asked, whose name was Julian. "It's already time to switch. Call the others," he said as he stood up from a rock where he was sitting.

Julian and everyone else who was watching seemed relieved. They were finally going to get some deserved rest.
