My jaws dropped, I finally thought I had a second chance to live a great life, that was until I realized I had Transmigrated into the underworld dimension, filled with Vicious beasts, Witches, Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, and also...humans.

The first thing I knew about Transmigration was if you want to return to your world, you have to return to the scene of the crime, or in this case, transportation.

I snuck out of the Castle, through the window, I was always an expert at sneaking out when I stayed with my Gran Gran. However, the tower of my room was high, so it took some time.

When I finally got to the ground, I rubbed my palms together and since there was only one river in the castle, I was sure that was there the other me, Hazel, had tried to commit suicide.

I took to my heels, running while holding my white flowing gown. I got to the wooden bridge and climbed on it, I was about to jump when a hand suddenly grabbed me, pulling me down.

"Your Highness, not again," Miriam said as we both tumbled to the ground.

"Let go of me, I need to go back!" I exclaimed, getting up and trying to fight my way out of her grip.

"Where do you want to go, this is absurd, stop behaving strangely, Your Highness!" Miriam also exclaimed, yelling at me in frustration.

"How dare you raise your voice at me, I am Ariana Kiel," I hissed. It would've been preferable if I said Princess Hazel, but I wasn't her and back in my world, my name had domination too, at least before my reputation was ruined.

"Please Your Highness, you are Princess Hazel, not...Alina Kile..."

"Ariana Kiel, not Alina Kile, repeat after my words, Ari-ana Kiel," I stressed.

"Ariana Kiel," Miriam replied, still not letting go of me.

"Please your Highness, the guests are waiting, you are supposed to get married today," Miriam pleaded.

"Guests, those people are demons, devilish beasts for God's sake and I'm supposed to get wedded to hideous monsters like them?" I asked.

"Oh Your Highness, they are everything except hideous," Miriam replied but I scoffed.

"It's obvious Hazel didn't want to get married to a demon that was why she tried to commit suicide, so tell me, why am I getting married to the devil when it's not for love?" I asked Miriam who had a worried expression on her face.

"Your Parents, Their Majesty, made a long-standing treaty, like an alliance and prosperity for both kingdoms. The demon king has promised us protection against the other races," Miriam said.

"So basically, you're saying my helluva parents, sold me to the demon king in exchange for protection, that's just right," I smiled.

"I beg you, your Highness, if you don't proceed with this, the Demons might wage war on us, on our kingdom,"

"Don't look at me, I don't even know y'all," I replied.

"It is your duty as the princess of this Kingdom to protect your subjects," Miriam said, still holding onto me.

"My duty, why is it my duty, you told me I have two sisters why can't they be the scapegoats and marry god-forsaken demons," I listlessly threw my hands in the air. I stared at Miriam and she still had that pitiful look on her face.

"Let me guess because I'm the dark horse of the family...silver horse to be exact?" I asked and she nodded while I sighed.

"Fine, I'll do it," I said, "I'll get married to your hideous demon of death," I walked away and she trailed behind me.

When I got off the bridge, I turned and hastily ran towards the water again but Miriam was quick to grab me. "My lady," She used a pleading tone.

"Fine," I groaned, walking back to the castle.

We went in through the back and I got a better view of the so-called royal family portraits as I walked through the hallway. There was no picture of the other me, only the raven-haired family with blue eyes, Hazel would've fit right in if she had my features back then when I was Ariana, and if I had hers when I was in my dimension, I would've been an even hotter sensation.

When we got to my room, I was bathed in the tub, filled with rose petals as Miriam moisturized my skin while I was lost in thoughts of what the phenomenon that brought me to this world was, she made with fragrant oils, it was a luxurious bath and after soaking away, I emerged feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Miriam then dressed my hair, as I sat in front of the mirror, I detected that Hazel was a beauty to behold, she had my face but her features were a hundred times more perfect, and her silver hair was lush and lengthier than mine was, stopping at her buttocks, her eyes were reflective to the expanse that I'd desire to have her features if the situation was different.

Miriam braided my hair in one plait and then placed a golden tiara on my head, in contrast to my silver hair, it was adorned with beautiful hairpins and gemstones and then she did my makeup, a light touch of makeup enhancing Hazel's natural beauty.

Next came the dress, I was made to wear a corset, it was tight but it did suit Hazel's body perfectly, considering her hourglass shape, it was perfect, then a white undergarment, next came the dress.

The dress was made with the finest silk, intricate embroidery, and sparkling jewels, a delicate lace, shimmer has a dramatic train and a regal silhouette. The bodice is glamorous. Its color was a soft pastel shade of blush pink and a lavender veil with a long train.

"You look divine, Your Highness," Miriam's voice awoke me, I opened my eyes and stepped in front of the mirror and indeed I looked gorgeous.

A smile crept on my lips as I held my pearl necklace, I always loved pearl necklaces and Miriam did mention Hazel did too.

I felt sorry for her, Princess Hazel, she was, just like her, cast away by her family, and they were about to sell her to a freaking demon.

I was scared and frightened, I sat on the bed and so did Miriam, "What's wrong Your Highness?" She asked.

"I'm frightened, I don't know anything, I don't remember anything," I replied, at least, if I transmigrated into Hazel's body I should at least get memories that'll guide me through, memories of what she knew. But I got nothing, this world was strange to me, how am I supposed to survive in this place, especially in a demon kingdom?

"I can't lie to you, I'm also scared for you, the demon king is rumored to be a cold-hearted person, he is nonchalant and calculative, and he rules with an iron fist, showing no mercy to those who defy him,"

Thanks for pointing out that I'm getting married to a monstrous beast, " I rolled my eyes.

"And I don't think I'll be able to go with you, so you're going to be completely alone in that strange place,"

"Tell me about it, this place is strange enough," I replied, "Tell me everything about Hazel, I mean, myself,"

Miriam creased her brows once more, "Your amnesia must be affecting your memories, Your Highness," She said, her eyes getting blurry with tears.

"No don't--don't cry, I just want to know what others think about me, I still know who I am," I tried to put her mind at ease. From the short moment we spent together, I already feel this connection between us.

"You--you were easygoing, you're known amongst the maids and servants of the castle as a kind and gentle nature. Peaceful with a warm and inviting presence that all living beings admire," She smiled, probably thinking Hazel was a gentle princess, but my eyes twitched, she sounded...boring to be exact.

"You were always surrounded by books, you idolized reading and singing, your voice is heavenly, and your positive mindset makes you spread happiness wherever in your ability to see good in the world. Even when you were mistreated, and told to never come out of your chamber, you always had an optimistic perspective," As she continued, I unknowingly smiled, sure, Princess Hazel was boring but she did look like a peaceful being, why on earth would someone show hostility to such a loving person?

"But since you woke up, you've been acting rather...strange," Miriam added.

"It must be the remnants of the water still flowing in my head," I grinned.

"It's almost time Milady," Miriam said and stood up, dusting off the spectacles of dirt on my dress.

"Once again I have to say, you look glorious, Your Highness," Miriam praised.

"Thank you," I replied with a smile, and with a sigh, we both went out the door.
