Chapter 7

"You know, I actually wish I could still give you a curfew. But I'm guessing with a sleepover at Olivia's that will be difficult," Elijah said as Aurora had smiled at her father.

The young girl may have been 20 years old, but her father was still very protective about what she did and with who.

"Daddy, you've met Noah before. I don't really think it's a bad thing if I were to hang out with them. It's just for a short while. I'll be fine," Aurora said.

"Hopefully. Okay. I better get to those studies," Elijah said as Aurora heard a car.

"Okay, out you go," Elijah said.

"I'll be safe. You have Noah's number as well. Love you. Bye, Mom!" Aurora said as she had headed out of the house.

She smiled as her dark hair blew around in the cold wind and saw how Noah got out of the car.

"Ready?" Noah asked as Aurora nodded.

"Think so. Hopefully this will occupy my mind," Aurora said.

"Let's go then," Noah said as Aurora got into the car, and they drove off.

Aurora had listened to the music playing in the background while she saw as Noah had also picked up Emma. She exhaled while looking back at how everything was and how everything had turned out. She was hanging out with some of her old friends while she hadn't really known what to do. She saw as Noah stopped the car at an apartment and got out of the car.

"What are we doing here?" Aurora asked.

"Activities start here. Emma came with a reason. You girls get busy. I am making coffee," Noah said as Emma dragged Aurora to a room.

Aurora had looked at the clothes laying around on the bed as she looked at Emma knowing what was going to happen.

"This is Noah's plan? Me getting dressed up and basically forgetting about Logan? That's the plan?" Aurora asked.

"Trust us, please," Emma said.

"Okay fine. I'm picking the outfit," Aurora said.

"Hair and makeup first. Let's go," Emma said.

Aurora had looked as Emma worked her magic. Of course, Aurora had worn makeup to school and so. But never a heavy amount of it. And nor was that the case today. Agreeing on it all, Aurora had light makeup on while her curly hair was touched up with a curling wand. Aurora had smiled in the mirror while Emma laid out 3 dresses.

"I'll be right outside," Emma said as she went out and saw Noah.

"She's trying. She'll be fine," Emma said.

"I just want her to be happy," Noah said as they saw how Aurora came out of the room.

"Now that looks amazing. Come on. Let's go," Noah said as all three of them stepped out of the apartment.

Stepping out of the car, Aurora exhaled as she saw the situation that she was at. She was now in a bar, of all places, and she didn't know whether she should be glad or mad. She smiled as she closed the door and saw the others.

"You ready? Best place to forget," Noah said as Aurora nodded.

"Let's go," Aurora said as they stepped into the bar and immediately she saw Logan and Landon.

"Seriously? Why is the man..."

"What are we drinking? Come on, Noah. Let's see how well your plans works," Aurora said.

"3 shots of tequila," Noah said as the bartender poured it into glasses.

Logan had looked shocked at the young girl who was with two of her friends. Seeing the girl out of college was strange for him. She had looked more relaxed at that moment than ever before.

"Yeah, cheers girls," Noah said as they had drank the shot.

"You good? I know you don't technically drink and so," Emma said as Aurora nodded and saw a stage.

"And now I'm going loose," Aurora said as she had jumped onto the stage.

"She sings?" Landon asked as Logan shrugged his shoulders and heard the music.

Logan had looked at the girl singing and enjoying herself as he had smiled, and she got off stage and immediately went to her friends.

"That was amazing. Wow, you're good," Emma said as Aurora smiled.

"Water please," Aurora said as she got handed a glass of water.

"Thanks. Definitely worth coming out for the day. I'm basically going to Olivia's after this. Sleepover. My dad agreed to... Damnit, what is Logan doing here?" Aurora asked as she saw how he had stood aside.

"Wanna leave?" Noah asked as Aurora had nodded and they went out of the door.
