Somi's Request and Preference

Somi didn't reject the idea of being held by Mio as she was already used to it, there were also quite a lot of people in the mall that she was talked about, and she just hated the idea of being surrounded by a lot of people that she doesn't know. Because she gets easily nervous when she is around people who she doesn't know and that nervousness turns into anxiety quickly, she will only get better when she is alone again or if she has someone close to her like her parents, or this time Mio.

"There are so many things to look for in a Mall, it looks like it even has everything that you can do. Wait, what is that over there? It looks like they have a lot of machines there." Somi asked as she just described the place that she was talking about since it would look too suspicious and awkward for her if she suddenly pointed at that place with her hand. As one would think she wasn't really blind if she did that.

Mio completely understood why Somi just described it as it would also look weird if the little girl in her hands suddenly pointed somewhere as if she could really see it.

"That? It is what you call an Arcade, Lady Somi. Those machines that you saw are something we can consider as Gaming Machines. I'm sure that you have heard of it since Master has probably had some of her own at least created the concept of Arcades in the Immortal Realm, right?" Mio smiled as she explained what is an Arcade to Somi.

"No… Mother has never done something like this because in her eyes it was a waste of time. My second Mother was the one who pushed her to create those things, but it wasn't made for the public. It was only for the use of our Family, plus it wasn't really a game because it's kind of a simulation to train, but she made it to where you can fight against your favorite game characters or even fictional characters that you can think of. So in her mind, it's a Gaming Machine. But in reality, it was just an Advanced Training Machine, but second Mother liked it since there were so many characters that she liked to fight." Somi gave a long explanation about what her Mother made.

When Mio heard it, she was suddenly tempted to also try that machine because there were so many Game Characters and Fictional Characters that she would want to fight. It was just too tempting.

"Well, I'm sorry to say this Lady Somi, but how about we skip the Arcade for now?" Mio asked in the best way possible as she didn't want Somi to get sad that she wasn't able to play with some real games today, so she quickly added that she'd let her play since she knew of a private place where she could play as much as she wants.

"Yeah, it's not a good look if suddenly a blindfolded girl plays in an Arcade." In contrast to what Mio thought would happen, Somi had a completely different reaction than what she initially thought she would be sad or at least be conscious about herself, but it seems that she was wrong. Seeing that she was wrong, she was even happy about it, it was probably the only time in her life where she was happy that she was wrong about something.

"Let's just go shopping. Do you have anything specific that you want? Such as clothes, jewelry, or just anything that you want other than the Panda Plushie that I'll buy you." Mio asked curiously as she hoped that there was something more than Somi would like to buy, it didn't even matter what it was, as long as it was not something that would go against the rules that were given by her Master, she would buy her anything.

"I already have so many clothes as well as jewelry. Mommy packed too much for me, I think I even have like a 100 set of clothes for every occasion. I can't even count how many Jewelry she gave me. I guess if I really want to buy something… is it possible for you to get me more bedroom accessories?" Somi said in an embarrassed tone and when Mio looked at her she saw a faint redness in her cheeks, and she couldn't believe how cute she was right now.

She couldn't believe that Somi actually wanted a simple thing right now, but she couldn't really blame her since the room that she was in was a guest room, and she didn't bother to decorate it so it was pretty plain and dull. It was not suited for a little kid.

"I… I had a stuffed toy that I always hugged in my sleep at home, but I didn't bring it even though Mommy had already encouraged me to do so. So I'm kind of having a hard time sleeping, so… I was hoping that you could buy me more than one Panda Plushies and Stuffed Toys." At this point, Somi's face was already extremely red because she was so shy and embarrassed by her request, and the fact that she could feel and hear Mio giggling made it even worse.

"Ahhh, I'm sorry, Lady Somi for laughing. But… you are just too cute, you know? Of course that is not a problem at all, if you want I can even buy hundreds of Panda Plushies if you want." Mio said as she lifted Somi at eye level before kissing her on the forehead as assurance.

"There is no need to go that far… I don't need that many, just a couple is fine." Somi felt warm in her heart after hearing that Mio didn't laugh at her for being childish.

"Lady Somi… a child should only experience all fun things, of course, there would be also some hardships there, but it is never wrong for a child to experience just happiness. You don't have to be shy that you have such a preference or liking, you don't need to feel pressured that just because your Mother is a War Goddess, you also need to follow her footsteps." Mio said seriously after she saw the split second of dejected look on Somi's face.

She was sad to think that Somi was thinking about such things, but with that kind of family, it was just a normal thing to happen. Your family consists of nothing but prodigies and all of them were mature even at such a young age, but that was because all of them have special circumstances.

"You know…. Lady Aika was actually just like you, but she never even tried to hide it. When she was still a little girl, she dragged Master everywhere that fancied her eyes in the Mortal Realm. It was actually quite a funny scene because Master just relented and even though it may seem that she was forced, I could see that she was very happy at those moments. So why is it wrong for you to not act like that too when both of you are daughters of Master?" Mio asked as she hugged her body tightly to not make her worry too much.

Just as she was about to say something more to assure and comfort Somi that it was fine to have such a preference, she heard a notification from her System which was not normal for her since she was already at the highest level and rank possible.
