One-Time Use Magic Circle

"Or just be yourself, act like what you always do, but still make some hints at her. But anyway, good luck in your adventure of trying to win her over. I'm not going to make things hard for you since I also want you to be in a relationship, and was hoping to get some grandchildren early, but it seems that won't be happening." Solar said as she tried not to put too much pressure on her, but when she realized what she just said, she realized that she made a mistake by saying that she wanted grandchildren.

"I… I'm sorry Mom. It seems that I have disappointed you." Alice said with a sad face as she realized what her actions were going to cause, but right now it was too late to back out because she already knew that she was in love with a woman and there might be no chance left for her to fall in love in the future. So she is going to try her absolute best to win over Mio's heart no matter how hard it would be.

"Ahh… don't worry about that, and yes… Even though I want some grandchildren for myself, I cannot force you to do that since I know that who you love is also a woman, but so be it. You should always prioritize your happiness before the others." Solar said with a light smile as she patted her daughter's head to not make her worry anymore. She would still want the best for her daughter even if it meant her not having a grandchild like what she hoped to have.

Alice looked at her mother in shock before hugging her with tears in her eyes as she didn't expect that she would support her that much to the point where she would even sacrifice her own wishes just to make her happy. This made her feel really happy inside, she truly felt that she was very lucky to have such caring and loving parents.

Carol who was on the side just smiled, she even gave her auntie a thumbs up saying that she would also try her best to help Alice win Mio's love which made Solar tear up a little seeing how supportive her nephew was. She then signaled her to come closer for a hug to which Carol followed and also tightly hugged her auntie with a smile on her face.

Meanwhile, back to the side of Mio. She was enjoying her free time as she just watched her students all scramble to finish what she tasked them, it was pretty amusing to her to see some groups were cooperating with other groups. While she watched them, she of course didn't forget to look after Somi who was eating her food in peace. This action of hers gathered a lot of attention from the people inside of the hall, some students were even distracted because of this.

Their first impression of Mio is that she is an arrogant and cold teacher, but she is a reliable one where they would be able to learn a lot of things if they listened to her intently. So now they promised themselves that they were going to listen to her because they felt like if they didn't listen to her, they would most likely fail her class, which none of them wanted to happen.

"Hey! Does anyone of you know who that little girl is? Teacher Mio brought her here in the morning. I even saw her buying some food for her at the nearby restaurant here. Do you think that is her daughter?" A student begins to gossip while working on their activity, afraid that he might get caught by one of the Teachers for slacking.

"Huh? I think that's a little far-fetched. That's not Teacher Mio's daughter, it's her little sister! I heard it from the students of Class F." One of his friends gave the real answer as she heard it from the students of Class F when she got close to them and heard their gossip about their Teacher.

"What? Little sister? But isn't Teacher Mio already in her mid-thirties? Doesn't that mean that they have almost a 30-year age gap? That's kind of wild!" He asked but this time his voice was a little loud which caused him to be heard by everyone who was near them, but in reality, their conversation was already heard by everyone as it was basically what was going on in everyone's mind.

That kind of age gap was big, to the point where it doesn't even seem normal. But when they think about it again, their Teacher's Family is definitely a hidden power where they have already lived for more than a hundred years, so something like this could definitely happen. But it was just weird for them to think about it.

"Times up! Now, everyone assigns a leader that will go up in here and explain to everyone what you made. Make sure to pick a proper presenter since they are the ones who are going to explain your work, also here is how I will grade your work. 30% for the Presentation, 25% for the drawing, 45% for the contents of your Magic Circle." Mio announces which makes them all freeze as some of them are not even finished with theirs, but since there is still some more time they quickly finish their work.

One by one, the presenters who had been chosen walked up to the stage and began reporting their works, and Mio only had an emotionless face as she listened to their presentation as no one really caught her eye. Because of this, she was slightly disappointed as all of them had some things in common which she already expected, but she was expecting something more from them, but it seemed that she was let down.

Even though nothing was outstanding or worthy of a high grade, her grades were all just between 80-87 and nothing went higher than that. But she still graded some lower than 80 which made the students feel a little down, some even got a failing grade at their first activity.

But just as she was getting bored with their presentation. A male student came up and showed her their Magic Circle creation first before starting to present here.

"Hello Teacher Mio, my name is Yato Nakamura, and I'm the presenter of our small group called Halo. Our group created a Magic Circle that can enhance the strength of pills and potions. This is just a 5-layered Magic Crocle, but we feel that it is enough to help the hospitals or even the Alchemy and Pill Maker. The outer layer is a Magic Circle which it absorbs Mana around the air to power the rest, the fourth one is just a normal strength enhancer, the third is a purifier, the second one makes the pill/potion shelf life longer, and the last one…" Yato took a quick pause to take a deep breath before continuing.

"The last one just makes the Pill or Potion to be more potent because we made it where once one pill or potion enters it, it would be destroyed. Basically a one-time use Magic Circle. This is connected to our outer layer, all of the residue Mana will be put inside of the Pill or Potion to make it even stronger. That is it, I hope Teacher Mio liked our work." After he was done, he could finally calm himself down, he didn't even know how he could present without stuttering as he was just so nervous.

"Hehehe… interesting. Yato is it, right? Tell me, how did your team come up with this idea?" Mio's interest was finally piqued and for the first time ever since the presentation started, she asked someone a question which has never happened for those who went first which made then envy Yato.
