Mio is Already Married with Someoe

"Well… you answer it." Mio had no plans to answer Alice's question and just let Solar decide on what to answer it because she herself didn't know what to answer.

She had met Alice before when she was still a toddler, even though Mio somewhat sees herself as Alice's aunt, in a way she also doesn't as she didn't interact with her that much while she was growing up. She has only met her a few times, this is why she is letting Solar answer this question. This way she can also know what she is to Alice.

"Ummm… ahhh. Well, let's just say that it's like this. She is technically your aunt because your Father and I had already decided before you were born that we were making her your Aunt, but we didn't say anything to her about it. But you can just say that she is your aunt, but don't let this affect the way you treat her though, because if there is one thing she hates, it's blind flattery and unnecessary things." Solar said before taking a sip of water before continuing.

"You have experienced this already, blind flattery, or well let's just call it boot-licking. She hates it because she knows that they are just after something when they talk to her. Right now she even hates getting compliments, well I guess other than one person maybe there is only one person that can make her happy with compliments." Solar even gave a description of Mio that made Alice shocked especially about the last part, she felt a tightening in her chest when she heard that there was only one person who could make her happy by just complimenting her.

That thought was making her uneasy, but in her mind, she didn't even know why she was feeling sad and uneasy about it because it had nothing to do with her. But what she doesn't know is that she misunderstood it, because the person that Solar was talking about was Mio's master.

Alice was thinking of an entirely different person, like Mio's lover. Though she was wrong about it. But even though she felt sad and uneasy, it never showed on her face, her Mom didn't even see it, but Mio felt that something was wrong because she felt the aura of Alice going down.

"What's wrong with you? Are you feeling ill?" Mio asked with a concerned tone because she didn't know what happened, she just knew that Alice was feeling down all of a sudden. She then shot a look at Solar to make her do something about it.

"Why, what's wrong? Why are you suddenly feeling down? Is there something that is bothering you?" Just as she finished those words, something clicked in her head. She was someone who was gifted with a high IQ at birth, but not only that she has also great EQ, so she somehow had an idea why her daughter was feeling bad, and it was because of what she said.

'There's no way, right? Does my daughter have some feelings for this ice-cold woman?' Solar who seemed to have a great discovery was very shocked at what she found out. It was the only reason she could think of why Alice would be sad after knowing that there was only one person who could give her compliments and make her happy.

Shen then looked at her nephew to get some confirmation since she knew more than her and when she saw her nodding her head at her, it was more than what she needed.

"I think she was just feeling nauseous again, I didn't tell you this before, but my daughter has a sensitive nose. So if there is a smell that is bad let's say, it would impact her the most since she can smell it like 3-5x greater than us." Solar just made an excuse so that Mio would not push this topic any longer, she then patted her daughter on the back as if to support her.

"Is that so? Then I won't disturb all of you now, you should take a rest. Take this also, it might help you with your sensitive nose. It's just a normal burning incense that I made." Mio said but before she left, of course, she didn't forget to grab some food for Somi and water for her, and when she got all of them, she finally left.

"Carol, can you confirm that what I'm thinking is right again, I just need one more time if I'm truly correct or not," Solar asked gently as she looked at her nephew to get one more confirmation about her and Alice was confused because she didn't know what was happening right now.

"I… I actually don't know, auntie. I thought it wasn't real, I just teased her about it, but looking at it now, I think it is real." Carol said what she really thought which left Solar speechless as it was she really thought, she then closed her eyes before looking straight into her daughter's eyes.

"Alice… will you be honest with me?" She asked with all seriousness in her face.

"What? Why are you asking this, what is even happening right now?" Alice was so confused but she still nodded her head to answer her Mother's question.

"Alright… do you have feelings for Mio? Because your reaction is just simply too strange. After I said that there was only one person who could make her happy with compliments, your mood went down and you got uneasy just the thought of that." Solar asked her straight, she didn't even try to make some corners and just went straight ahead.

"What? What are you saying Mom, how could I have feelings for her? We are merely colleagues, well I guess we are now a family since she is my aunt." Alice was shocked when she heard what her Mother wanted to ask her, but deep inside she was also confused as she just didn't know what to feel, and when Solar saw this, she sighed as she knew that she was lying, but she pretended not to see it before coming up with a plan to expose it.

"Phew… That's good. I thought that you might have some feelings towards her because it would be bad if you did." Solar sighed in relief.

"Of course I know that Mom, she's my aunt. It's basically a taboo if I say that I love her." Alice chuckled lightly, but when the next words came out of her Mom's mouth, she froze on the spot.

"It's not that. You are not blood-related so there's no problem with that. It's just… she is married to someone already. So it will look extremely bad if you have feelings for her, especially since she is a married woman." Solar lied on the spot, though she only said this because of her knowledge that Mio has basically a marriage with Yumie, her master's daughter.

"What did you say? She is married?" Alice's face went completely pale as she said those words.
