I was extremely excited because I'm finally going to a boarding school, which has always been my dream

"Dawn hurry, you don't want to be late on your first day at school" I heard my mom say

"I'm coming mom, I'm almost ready" I said

I was mainly excited because i would Finally be away from my parents for the first time in my life.

"Dawn, aren't you done yet?" My dad asked

"I am" I said, carried my luggage and headed outside

"Hope you didn't forget anything" My mom asked

"No I didn't" I replied

"I'll miss you sweetie" My mom said hugging me

"I'll miss you too mom" I said hugging her back

"Bye, take care of yourself" My mom said

"Bye" I said and boarded the car.

My name is Dawn Reyes, I'm seventeen years old, I just moved from Rio to Forks in Washington because my dad just got transferred here, he's in the special force, so he usually gets transferred to different places. At first I was upset that we were moving to Forks, but after I heard that I'd be going to a boarding school, I became really excited 'cause that's my wish.

"We're here" My dad announced.
