Alaric stood in the dimly lit chamber, his eyes reflecting the flickering torchlight as he pondered his next move. He knew that the time for subtlety was nearing its end. His enemies were closing in, and now was the moment to strike. Alaric's fingers drummed lightly on the armrest of his chair as his mind raced through the coming confrontation.

Gilbert, as always, stood at attention beside him, awaiting his master's orders. The loyal servant's gaze was calm but alert, aware of the gravity of what was about to unfold.

"Gilbert," Alaric began, his voice low but commanding. "It's time we take the next step."

Gilbert stepped forward, inclining his head respectfully. "What would you have me do, my lord?"

Alaric's expression hardened. "Send a message to Duncan. Tell him to summon the main family members of the Silverclaw family to their stronghold. We will go there and capture them."
