Chapter 138: Into the Cube

"Care to tell me why I see shifters outside?" Jonas asked Alejandro. 

Alejandro didn't utter a word. In his mind, how could this happen? His people gave a good amount of extra dosage of sedative to each supernatural here. Why the heck are they roaming around as if nothing happened?

"Shit. I don't have any ideas," Alejandro told him and he immediately dialed the base. 

"Hello chief?" a voice coming from the base answered his call.

"Katie, close the door! Now!" he screamed at the woman. 

"But Chief, you are all still inside," Katie questioned him. 

"Change of plan. Just close the door! I'll call you again if we finish collecting the bodies. Just close it," he instructed Katie. 

"Copy, Sir," Katie answered him and he heard the familiar sound of closing the door from the phone before he ended the call. 

"Well?" Jonas asked him. "I think you underestimated your prisoners, hmm," he added.
