"With the help Qingsu, I now have the qualifications to challenge a new rank once again" Zhou Xinqiu laughed while beaming towards the smiling Zhou He. "I now challenge the second ranker.. Liu Yan, of the ever so despicable Golden pupil faction." She declared proudly while turning her head to face the arena once more.

Liu Huai's face began to distort out of anger. However, as he was about to yell out, Hei Xie, the leader of the Black Jade faction, stopped him from saying any ridiculous and redundant remarks.

Liu Yan's fat figure stood up and lazily walked towards the arena in a carefree manner. "Madam Xinqiu is rather matching my taste in women recently!"

Zhou Xinqiu's face contorted into a disgusting look, "Liu Yan, get your fat behind over here for me to beat up."

"Oh? indeed you are very feisty hehe" Liu Yan's eyes began to burn with lust as the distance between the two got smaller and smaller. When he stepped onto the boundary of the arena, the shielding force activated and the arena levitated back into the air.

"Begin" Zhou Feng waved and placed his hands behind his back.

"Soul Needle!"

An illusory needle about 1 foot long shot out from between Liu Yan's brows and approached Zhou Xinqiu's head. She closed her eyes and found that she was able to discern her surroundings in a radius of 10 feet easily with the help of her soul sense. She then found the space where the soul needle was floating towards her brows and a sudden surge of soul qi bursted out of her glabella. Within seconds, a sphere of gentle soul qi formed around her in a defensive position.

She opened her eyes and a slight grin formed on her face. "You were right, his soul is too weak to do me any harm" Zhou Xinqiu thought in her mind. When the needle finally entered her defensive soul sphere, she was able to sense everything about the needle along with its weaknesses. However, she also had a sudden urge to devour it... almost like it would feed her soul. Hence, she lifted her hand a small pulling source appeared in her palm as she sucked in Liu Yan's soul essence which was hiding in the soul needle.

Afterwards, the needle began to look like an empty shell without any purpose. "What if I put my soul qi inside?"

Qin gong interestedly watched all of Zhou Xinqiu's thoughts gather without speaking a word. After all, if he told her everything then she would never learn by herself in the future.

As Zhou Xinqiu's red tinted soul qi entered the empty soul needle, the corpse of the needle began to shake as if it was resisting. However, in the face of higher level soul qi, it was not able to last and gave in within a couple of seconds.

"Madam Xinqiu, stop playing these tricks, you can only delay the inevitable!" Liu Yan laughed.

"Tricks?" The needle abruptly turned 180 degrees before speeding towards Liu Yan at thrice the speed he sent it to her at. Also, after fully integrating her soul qi into the needle, she learned exactly how the technique worked and two more needles appeared by her sides.

"What the hell??" Liu Yan's eyes shrunk and he tried using a defensive soul technique which barely blocked the needle from completely destroying his soul.

"Looks like they are too weak at this level." Zhou Xinqiu raised one of the needles in front of her. "If the soul imprints can enhance Qi techniques, they might be able to enhance soul techniques as well."

"5 Soul imprints merge!" 5 imprints merged into one slightly bigger imprint and floated in front of Zhou Xinqiu's face.

"Enhance!" The merged imprint fused into one of the soul needles perfectly. "Looks like I was right."

"You.. What.. How!?!? You..You.. think that I don't have any other techniques?!? Soul defensive star!!" Liu Yan retorted before preparing.

"Its not that I don't think you have other techniques. Its just that at the level you are at, no techniques you are able to learn will be able to threaten me." Zhou Xinqiu smiled and took a few steps closer to Liu Yan.

"Wow! I never knew that Young Mistress Zhou Xinqiu cultivated the soul!" Shocked faces grew from almost everyone in the crowd.

"Go!" The enhanced needle dashed into the defense star before the star shattered into hundreds of pieces as soon as the needle came in contact with it.

As the needle approached Liu Yan he let out a shriek before exclaiming "Ok ok ok I guess its not too bad to admit defeat to a beauty! I admit defeat!"
