Prologue

Samantha is in the back of the humvee with Jason he's breaths are starting wheeze "hurry up we're losing him" Chloe is driving like crazy "we're nearly there only a few more minutes.

They finally get to a large gate which opens to an underground station Chloe stops at a large building Victoria walks out seeing Jason "holy shit get the doctors" Jason is put on a medical bed and rushed to the underground hospital.

Samantha and the others are in the waiting room Samantha looks at her hands Jason's blood is covering her hands Chloe and Amelia are whispering about how safe bunker Zeta is Henry sitting next to Samantha.

"He's gonna be fine he'll pull through" Samantha looks at her brother "I hope so" the doctor walks in everyone surrounds him "good news we stopped the bleeding and he's gonna be okay."

Samantha sighs in relief "oh thank god" the doctor nods "he'll be out for a few days you guys should get some rest he will need it."

Samantha leaves the hospital and goes out to a large underground bunker when they found Jason the generator was put in and this place came to life the roof is a day and night cycle which mimics the sky helping food grow.

There is a lot of stuff here schools a bank even a Starbucks which makes Samantha really want a coffee but she goes to her apartment which the leader of this place Victoria gave her.

She gives her goodbyes too the group and leaves the apartment is pretty empty the only thing that is here is a large fridge a couch.

Samantha goes to the bathroom she takes her clothes off which are stained in blood she goes into the shower.

She sighs she can't believe that their safe now she hasn't been able to feel this way in a long time but then the images of Jason flood her mind she has shaky breath she sobs quietly in the shower.

A few days go by and Samantha has her hair tied up and is in a nice white shirt and blue jean pants she walks into Jason's room he's still asleep his wounds have healed but they leave large scars.

No one knows why everyone thinks that he may have lost his hybrid powers as the doctors checked his blood and found nothing Samantha grabs a chair and sits next to him.

She holds his hand she sits there for hours until she falls a sleep Jason wakes up he rubs his eyes with his two fingers he sits up wincing he feels extremely groggy.

Jason see's his in a hospital with Samantha next to him he's hooked up to machines he moves his hand away from her grip he taps her shoulder.

Samantha shoots up "Jason your awake" she hugs Jason grunts in pain "oh shit sorry I forgot you were in an explosion."

Jason nods "yeah I feel like shit" he sighs "we're are we?" Samantha open the blinds the sun light both makes them squint "where in bunker Zeta" Jason looks around "wow how long have I been out?" Samantha tilts her head back and forth "few days for so you were pretty banged up I thought...you were gonna die I cried for a whole day that was horrible."

Jason feels bad he shuffles over and pats next to him "come on you need a snuggle" Samantha bites her lip she get up and lays gently next to him Jason puts his arm around her she puts her head on his chest.

"Mmm this is nice" Jason smiles "your very beautiful today Sam" she smiles kissing him on the lips "I missed this just being normal" they continue to make out.

As they share this moment the door opens Samantha is blushing Chloe and Amelia walk in with Henry "oh my bad we didn't know that um Samantha was here."

Samantha hides her embarrassment "oh my god guys knock next time as Jason laughs

Jake walks in a hurry taking in a deep breath "guys...nukes...dropped" Chloe turns to him "what?" Jake take one more deep breath "nukes were just dropped on the world everything is gone."
