Memories to remember

Sophia was 10 years old when her sister Gail went abroad to Japan with her foster family. Gail was adopted to Sophia's family. Sophia treated Gail as her older sister for a long time. But time passed, no news about Gail. Sophia was disappointed Gail did not write her any letters. They lost contact. When Sophia asked her parents about Gail, they only said Gail went abroad to study. They treated Gail as their daughter but due to financial reasons, Sophia's parents asked the child services to help Gail find another family. Sophia cried and cried that Gail won't be with her anymore. Before Gail left, she told Sophia, "We will meet again, one day. Thank you for being my little sister." Gail was a beautiful girl, she was like a jewel. As time passed, it was harder for Sophia to find traces of Gail. She doesn't know if Gail is still alive or not. Her parents won't give her any informations. Her only wish is to see Gail when she gets married.

As Sophia woke up from her sleep, she thought about Gail. All this time, she wants to know how well Gail was doing. Is she still alive? She thought to herself, I better ask my parents again about Gail after going back. She missed Gail ever since they were seperated at childhood. She missed calling Gail her older sister because Gail was few years older than Sophia. Sophia really hope she can find some information about Gail.

Sophia looked outside from the hotel. Greece was so beautiful. The sky was blue and the sun was shining ever so brightly.

"Matt, what are you doing?" Matt wrapped his strong arms around Sophia's waist and her lower abdomen. Sophia smiled at Matt.

"Your hair looks like a disaster." Sophia laughed.

"Hm... I don't care. I want to stay this way forever." Matt was mumbling. Sophia tries to fix Matt's messy hair. She kissed Matt on the cheek.

"Matt, look at the time. We have to meet Kate and the others in 15 minutes. We need to hurry." Matt kissed Sophia deeply for a few minutes, "Nuh uh... I want all of you. Stay still." As they kissed, everything felt so good.

As they head out to meet Kate and the others, Peter came and greets Matt and Sophia. "Hey guys, we still have a few minutes until the bus comes. Kate rushed to us with take out food. "Sophia! Matt. Thankfully they let me do this so I can get you guys breakfast. Sophia, you need to feed your little one. Here's yours. Matt, here's yours. The bus will come in 30 minutes because it was delayed. Take your time and eat. Sit down over here." Kate finally took a deep breath. "Thank you, Kate. I really appreciate you doing this." Kate nodded and said, "Nope. It's fine."

When they were on the bus, Sophia could see the beautiful beaches. It was their last day here in Greece. They spent the last few weeks in different parts of Greece. Zakynthos was their last destination.

When they got off, they went to the beach. The sand was still warm and it felt so good walking barefeet. Kate and Ed were having fun with Allie and her boyfriend. Peter and Tiffany went on the boat ride not too far from the shore. It was a beautiful scene.

Sophia and Matt were walking along the beaches and enjoying the sunlight. Sophia really hope they can come back again. They already made so much memories together.

"Sophia, it's been several month since we were together. You are already pregnant with my child. I really want to marry you after we go back." Matt held Sophia's hand as they walked. "Of course, Matt. I cannot wait. Our little one cannot wait too." Sophia smiled.

Matt kissed Sophia and said, "Ever since I met you at the party, I loved your smile and your beautiful eyes. After getting to know you day after day, I've fallen in love with your personality. I didn't date other girls because they were always chasing me. But, you were different. You are quiet but not shy. Reserved I should say. But as I got to know you especially after several dates, your personality is very beautiful. No wonder Kate loves you. After my mother died, you were always by my side. You spend nights comforting me yet you were pregnant with my child. You should've rested but you took care of me. You comforted me when I needed the most. After you told me you had my child, I made a vow. It will be my turn to protect you no matter what happens. I don't ever want to lose you. If it's not for the strange bracelet, we wouldn't even be here." Matt laughed as Sophia smiled.

"Yes. These bracelets were strange. But they work." Sophia held onto Matt's hand and said, "Matt, when I first met you. I thought you were mr. know it all kind of guy. I thought you were arrogant. From the first time I saw you, truthfully, I didn't even know why I ignored you. But as I got to know you from Kate's point of view... I decided to try to get to know you better. After several dates with you, I can see you are a very responsible guy and very warm hearted on the inside. Besides that, you are handsome and no wonder girls chased after you. From that moment when we slept together for the first time, you cared about my wellbeing. And, this little one was created because it's another chance for us to get to know each other better and let's us depend on each other more. Our child brings us together." Sophia was glad Matt was on her side. They fell in love and will always stay together no matter what happens between them.

As the sun sets, they went back to their hotel for the final formal night dining. It was fabulous. Sophia wore her favorite navy blue and purple shade formal dress. Kate and the other girls wore prettily too.

"Kate, you look fabulous." Sophia said.

"You too. Sophia, you always look gorgeous. I can see your bump prominent now. Hello, little one!" Kate was so happy.

"How many months now?" Tiffany asked.

"Three months." Sophia answered.

"Wow, I still cannot believe you got pregnant earlier than me." Tiffany said.

"I didn't expect it either. But, this little one suddenly came." Sophia laughed.

"Oh Matt, you're here. We were just talking about how lucky you are. You already have a child with Sophia now. How do you feel?" Tiffany asked.

"Very grateful. Loving Sophia more and more every single day." Matt kissed Sophia on the cheeks.

"Are you guys getting married soon?" Allie asked.

"Sophia and I are planning to get married after we go back. You guys still have time to come right?" Matt said.

"Peter and I are leaving in several weeks. So we can definitely make it to your wedding." Tiffany said.

"Sophia, I told your parents about our wedding and they are already preparing it." Matt said as he took out the engagement ring.

"Matt, you didn't have to do this. This ring is gorgeous. I love you, Matt." Sophia cried tears of joy. Everyone clapped after their proposal.

It was the most beautiful memory to remember. Matt will be Sophia's husband very soon. But things will start to change really soon.
