PROLOGUE: THE BEGINNING AND THE END OF THE WORLD

In the beginning, there was a war between a traitor God who tried to ruin the world that the Goddess of Beginning created and the God who tried to do everything to protect the Goddess. The war in Heaven made the humans who were living in the human realm left in chaos. The Goddess of Beginning left no choice but to create a group of humans to defeat the Devil together by the strong bonds they share. They are called The Alphas.

Alphas were born using the power of The Goddess of Beginning, Aurelia. They were born with different traits and characteristics using the dead Gods that The God of End, Cain killed.

The Alpha of Sky and Lightning has the power to create thunderstorms and control the weather — a trait he got from the God of Sky and Lightning, Zada.

The Alpha of Light and Love has the power to heal any wounds and give light and hope to the mortals — a trait she got from the Goddess of Light, Anna.

The Alpha of Hunting has the power to control the earth, heal basic wounds, and protector of the Animals — a trait she got from the God of Hunting, Zida.

The Alpha of Wisdom and War have the ability of "The Owl's Eyes" which foresee what's those aren't foreseen by the mortal eye. This very ability is powerful and can rival the Goddess of Creation itself and the time since it has the ability to see the future and the past. This is a trait he got from the Goddess of Wisdom and Justice, Akila.

The Alpha of Life has the ability to revive the dead back to "life". It is the same trait as to reincarnation or rebirth — a trait coming from the God of Life, Anastasius.

The Alpha of Sea and Earthquake have the power to create huge waves and natural calamities that would bring down the earth into natural chaos like tsunamis and earthquakes. She also has the ability to control the water and the ocean and has a deep connection to The God of Sea and Earthquake, Kai.

The Alpha of Death has the ability to control the "dead". They do not revive nor have the ability to use the power of rebirth from the God of Life. They are but messengers living in the underworld and assist The King of Souls. In other words, The God of Death is the one who will judge whether you will live in peace or live in hell in the afterlife since they also worked with The God of Life. These traits were coming from the God of Death, Anubis.

The other two Alphas were the Messengers of the Alphas. He has the same trait as God and has little to no powers since he only sends messages and is a spy between Gods and Goddesses. However, the Alpha of Fire and Craftsmanship have the ability to create any kind of craft — be it a weapon or not. A fond trait from the Fire God of Craftsmanship.

The Gods and Goddesses who once died back at the war made a deal to the Goddess of Beginning way back before the war happened.

"No matter what happens to us, oh Goddess of Beginning, use our powers to help the poor mortals to fight back against the enemy."

The Goddess of Beginning, against the idea, ended up agreeing. And when it finally happened, Aurelia has no other choice but to reincarnate them inside the bodies she created using the seed of Anastasius's power. Now became what we all know, The Alphas.

A title that made enemies shiver in fear, and allies would feel overjoyed to hear such a great name. They fought alongside the Goddess of Beginning, Aurelia. However, Cain is still a powerful God. He made them remember their past lives as The Gods and Goddesses and brainwashed their minds that they never have a deal, to begin with Aurelia. Again, Cain made chaos inside The Alphas and each one of them betrayed one another even the Goddess of Beginning, Aurelia.

Confusion went into a rage, and rage turn into screams of cries and pain. And died. The once Alphas have now turned to dust and Aurelia watched them killed their selves. Having enough, she went into the battlefield once more and finally locked Cain away from the Mortal Realm. But that didn't end, as Cain isn't dead. The justice the Alphas have isn't done yet.

Their fates were bound tightly with each rebirth. The only thing they remembered in each rebirth is to fight Cain with all their might with their mission alongside the gods and goddesses of the past. However, something strange occurs that every rebirth now turned into something new. As if the Goddess of Beginning and Life worked together once more. Their endless eternal pain was relieved a little since their memories as once Gods and Goddesses were erased.

Only now do they remember themselves as "The Descendant of The 1st Generation of Alphas".

Centuries have already passed and another new generation of Alphas came. The Empire was built in luxury and freedom. It is a nation for all of the people. But behind the curtains of the extremely elegant, luxurious, and successful Empire there is a hidden dirty secret.

Once again, The Devil arose from his death and starts to find each of his shards with the help of Aniya's Mother — Vierra. She's the count's daughter who became the Duke's Wife with the help of the devil. A greedy human who was blinded by the devil's offers. She has one flaw that she cannot accept. And that is Aniya who was born an illegitimate child.

Surprisingly enough, the fate of Aniya also repeated. But this time will be different.

Some of the Alpha's fates will be repeated, but there will be one thing that would bring the Alphas down and break their bonds. Sure, breaking the bonds of the Alphas would be the easiest solution. But he is a Devil. A devil who only plays and has fun on his own.

The pain, happiness, and smiles keep on repeating. But the betrayal was the first time that Tina felt. As a member of the Alpha, it was enough for the Devil to laugh at them. Just one innocent lamb to break is enough show for him to watch. But there is still more that he wanted to see.

The devil wanted to see Tina suffer more as he saw Tina as "Aurelia".

And so, he manipulated her fate. One by one.

Until she was known as Lucia — The Alpha of Everlasting Snow Moon, the one who killed all the Alphas. The pain that Tina went through made her heart turn into a hard stone. She has never eaten her words nor her promises. She will break you if she wanted, and she will let you go if she wanted.

The last pain she felt is the time when she found out it wasn't really the Alpha's fault but the ancient Devil who somehow reawakened. With a raging fire deep within deep in her heart, hatred, resentment, pain, guilt – she bursts and chases the Devil down. She didn't care about the stories or rumors about her, all she cares is that she wanted to atone for the sins she has made for the innocent Alphas.

After the devil died, Tina thought she would be set free from the curse she was given. But no, the past still lingers in her heart and mind making her feel Deja vu in places they once visited when the Alphas are still alive.

But why did the Devil do that? Why did he betray the Heaven and the Goddess of Beginning he once loved?

Maybe it is indeed the fact that The God of End truly loved the Goddess of Beginning. However, when he knows he has no chance with Aurelia at all he backed away and lets her be happy with the one she truly loves. Or maybe, Aurelia was "once his everything".

To Cain, Aurelia is his everything. In the past, back in his childhood. He was nothing. He was born from the dark and was quickly turned into a 5-year-old boy who wanted parental comfort from the people who called him "a devil". Cain was sitting in the darkest corner of the room hugging himself while his tears streamed down from his eyes.

Aurelia, who was kind and gentle to everyone saw Cain crying. Having the empathy she felt for the little boy, she outreaches her hand and gave Cain a new meaning in life. Since then, they were inseparable. They were childhood best friends and everyone starts to respect him because he is close to the Goddess of Beginning and is rumored to be favored by the Goddess of Creation. As years went by, Cain starts to have feelings for Aurelia but to no avail, she doesn't like him.

Devasted, he went down and met a human girl who have lovely innocent pink eyes and green hair. She was nothing but a normal human living a normal life in a small town. Sooner, they fell in love and had a child. But when the Goddess of Creation found out what Cain has been doing, he was called back to Heaven and was locked up. He has no other choice but to leave his little family down to in the Mortal Realm.

Cain, knowing Aurelia is closer to the Goddess of Creation begged to let him leave. But Aurelia ignored his plea and left him alone in a room with no light because she knew that Cain's family is dead by the order from the Almighty One and there is no effort of saving his now gone family. But that same night, he used his powers to escape and went to Aurelia's room and begged her to save his family in the Mortal Realm since Cain, knew what would The Goddess of Creation would do.

"No. And this is final, Cain. What she's doing is for the best of you —" Cain was pissed and had enough. Everything was taken away from him. Everything.

"YOU ALL TOOK EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME! YOU KNOW THAT I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU AND YET YOU LEAVE ME ALONE WITH NO CLEAR ANSWER TO HAVE AND STAY WITH ANASTASIUS! AND NOW THAT I AM FINALLY HAPPY, ARE YOU STILL GOING TO TAKE WHATEVER HAD I HAVE?" he shouted at her and Aurelia shouted back too.

"THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE WRONG, CAIN! ALL I'VE DONE FOR YOU IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD! YOU KNOW THE GODDESS —"

"IF YOU KNOW HER WELL THEN WHY DON'T YOU TRY AND SAVE MY FAMILY FROM DANGER!" he interrupted.

"Please... Aurelia... I beg you... save my family... They're important to me... Aurelia... Please... I am begging..." He finally breaks and went down to his knees, kneeling to Aurelia.

"I am sorry, Cain." She didn't hesitate to answer. Cain wipes away his tears and stood up.

"I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THEM, AURELIA!" He shouted and walk outside her room.

From that day on, what he was afraid of, happened. Days later, he finally escaped from his prison room and arrived at the scene where his beloved wife and daughter died. He silently shed tears while he both hugged them in his arms.

"Don't worry, sweetie… Daddy is here…" Cain whispered to his daughter's cold corpse.

"Darling, I'm here… I'm sorry, I am late…" Cain kissed the cold lips of his wife's corpse. In the end, he curses The Goddess of Beginning and used up all of his power to escape the prison and since then, he became famously known as The Devil.

He went for revenge. And everyone didn't know what truly happened. Since then, his name was feared by many and sooner enough, he will be defeated by a person who has the power to defeat him.
