The interview of a model

"If I don't take my victory home with me tonight, let me remain confined to this arena until it is my time to claim it. I have been banned for five years from competing in this Miss Atlantican beauty pageant; it wasn't my fault, but my mother's desired to get her daughter crowned as Miss Atlantica.

Was it her deed or my beauty that brought me into my Coronation, which I have never enjoyed? I was patronized and castigated before the eyes of millions of people. My crown was taken out of my head and the police arrested my mother alongside the judges that she bribed in this same arena. It's me and my beauty today not my money or bribery."

Zoe answered the talk show presenter of the Atlantica pageant, Nate who was interviewing her before the beauty pageant commenced which was held in Atlas city of North Atlantica. Other contestants were at the dress rehearsal studio to see the live interview with Zoe and Nate, the presenter.

Her father, Frank was there amongst the audience alongside her sister Menander but her mother, Connie had passed away during her five-year sentence in prison for bribing the Judge to crown Zoe, her daughter. Her boyfriend, Leon, was with her family to support and felicitate her.

The interview continued.

Nate started by saying, "the day had finally arrived for Miss Atlantica 2022. I guess you feel angels descending upon you and you feel like you have already been crowned in heaven by God Himself. What are your expectations to walk away with on this day or your desires at this glamorous event?"

Zoe replied, "Everything, I mean, I could take home with me, but Coronation is my first and foremost diadem I can't walk out of this pageant without. I want the crown in my head again and again. This pageant is unique and fascinating It invites everyone to compete, and it's thrilling for me to be seen by millions of Antaticans after all the drama and criticism I have endured. I feel excited and competitive as a twenty-six-year-old young girl."

Nate asked, "Talking about competitiveness, what are your plans after Coronation? Are you intending to take all the contestants out or are you planning to have a private party with them?"

Zoe replied, "I had not thought of that, but Miss Atlantica 2022 deserves a memorable moment of celebration and commemoration. How she should be treated should be with respect and care, rather than the criticism I anticipate following this interview. What I wish more is to see equality in gender and in color."

Nate said, "You are an activist who is one of the most admirable donors to many non-profit organizations in Atlas. You are a successful investor in a variety of small-and-medium-sized-businesses and a self-made billionaire in your early 20s Don't you think people might say you have bribed the judges if you win this beauty pageant and be crowned Miss Atlantica for the second time?"

Zoe replied, "That question will get my name disgraced and I feel humiliated because you are bringing the past into the present tense.

Anyway, you seem concerned about me, why?"

Nate continued with the interview, "I am asking because five years ago you won but it was due to bribery that was involved I know your heart was broken by the act of bribery that your mother did with the judges. Is this why you are back with your natural beauty which will make us see your success as a tour de force?"

Zoe felt humiliated, "it was my mother and she was sentenced to five years behind bars where she died. I was banned for five years and I was forbidden from taking part in any beauty pageant. By the way, I can't change the way people think and how they perceive me.

However, they would understand that bribery wasn't my fault but my mother's desire to see her daughter win the beauty pageant. I just brought my beauty and to manage myself and my behavior above all we are here the same. In the level of fame, in the level of beauty, in the level of education and our status is what all models experience."

Nate said, "You are such a brave girl. After a five-year-back bribery tragedy, I heard about your start in your career and how you were treated and criticized by your agent mates. Is this what prompted you to start your modeling agency and be a model under the company of yourself?"

Zoe replied, "maybe no, maybe yes but as an opportunist, I do all that is doable and eat what is edible and piquant to taste and my fellow contestants know what we have been through."

Nate asked, "What inspired you to take part in this beauty pageant again after your name has been the object of media ridicule? Is it because of your love for modeling as your body and beauty fits you well as a model or did you inherit this career from your mom and want to make her proud?"

Zoe replied, "I have planned this day for years and yes I want to make my mother proud as you know this is not the first time I take part in such a beauty pageant. I've been through a lot and know how the media disgraced my name by trying to bury me alive. Everything you do is based on instinct, so you will follow it until it becomes a reality. Modeling is my career and I love it."

Nate turned to the camera and said, "We are still live on the Atlas talk show at the Miss Atlantica pageant 2022. We have one of our contestants as our co-host on the talk show. At this moment, let us take a break and go to the market to see how the economy is doing with the help of Zoe's hand.
