While the application process for the election was ongoing, William's and his son Charles called for Christopher for a meeting in koen house.
He responded to the calls, honoring the invitation with great surprise.
"Hope the application process is going as planned." William's asked. We are not trying to incriminate anyone, but rather trying to work out justice; Olivia can't be in the be the Governor, she does not possess it qualifications in character wise; aside that, she has done much to this family, still doing more." He added. He also told Christopher how she have constantly confronted Charles and Deborah, and this time around the event of her confrontation is well recorded. "That's right, recording her troubles is the best. I believe when this is presented to Electoral Commission, they will find many reasons not to nominate her." Christopher responded, crossing his legs over each other.
"If not for my son, who has been stopping me from reacting, I wanted to show her the color of the Williams family." William aid. adding to what he has previously said.
They then focus on how Christopher have gone with his application. "I have been able to work things out with Eason the Electoral Commission Chairman, and he has promised to stand by me", he explained and also told them how all Hudson have disclosed to Eason I'm favor of Olivia. Much was said regarding the application; after that, koen requested to know what he might need to run the election successfully; when he mentioned it, half of the fund was transferred into his account, and he promised to do more.
"Aside from that, I don't think she shouldn't be totally brought down; at least she has fought to this point and will be fit to be my deputy." Christopher, spoke on her behalf.
Charles looked at him, the words sounded annoying to him.
" We didn't call you here to speak on her behalf, though I consider that at first, but are regular trouble on me and Deborah, have made her worth nothing before me." Charles spoke. Hopeton who really needed to responds to the call of the citizen, had to decline the good idea he have for Olivia when he realized that William's didn't support his option of placing her as his assistant, he then think of alternative. " It won't be right if we are to leave her without a position, whatever position aside from be the vice Governor, I think she should be honor for her fight higher post." He suggested.
"She is separate, and mark this, she will really roar like a lion when she finally fails and won't be able to take a minor position, because she didn't think of that at the beginning." Elizabeth spoke; she had been sitting quietly for a very long time. She saw it as not being rightful to be part of the meeting until Christopher prolonged the meeting with Olivia favor.
"Whatever happens to her at the end of the election isn't my problem; she and Hudson have really bit the finger that fed them, and they must surely pay for that." She added.
"Do you know she aborted my baby, and I believe she knows her reasons for not being pregnant till now?" Charles spoke. The aim for the meeting started going out of plan, mentioning more reasons why she shouldn't be considered for any post, not even be placed as the secretary.
" Always focus on your career and allow her beat around the push." Charles said. Moreover, it wasn't in Charles intention to fight back, instead the effect of her mother, words on the aspect of not being the president if she is found guilty of destroying her pregnancy. This has been the obstacle; the same is said to affect her before the electoral Commission. The rejection from all positions rang into the hearts of those who are to favor her; immediately the curse was laid on her. Be dislike from the public and supporters became the order of the day for Olivia. "You are actually the heart of the people, and I believe you are fit for it.There is no need for her to be desperate, and for Hudson, who has thought he can grab the power again, he has failed." William gently said it. He reminds the family how he has supported Hudson during the election, with the expectation that he will develop the country more. Though, Hudson was able to deliver little among what he have promised, but not to the expectations of the masses, and on the other hand, he always declined Hudson advice. This behavior exhibited by Hudson spoke poorly of his administration.
"You should be able to perform perfectly; the masses have their reason for choosing you, and I believe you won't disappoint them," Charles said.
Haven done with the meeting, Charles had to rush down home; he had a call from Deborah and Kingston disturbance in seeing him. He had missed his presence for the moment and wanted to be with him.
At first, Charles had promised to take him out with Deborah, where he could get him some gifts and snacks, but almost late for home. He picked some edible things for him, including the shirt he had promised.
When he got home, Kingston had already gone to bed. So the snacks had to be kept for the next day, aside from the fact that Deborah ate a little of them. " You failed getting mine for me, so eating from his won't be a problem, because he had already slept off." She spoke. And also went on asking him how the meet went. "So fine, my darling, at least we were able to discuss a lot, especially now that Joey is fully involved. Well, he was supposed to be in the meeting, but had a serious meeting to attend with the president, of which I know is for the growth of the country." He replied to her.
"So there is hope for us that Olivia won't be nominated?" She asked. Charles responded by nodding his head, as yes.
After that, he took some fruit to digest the food he had eaten before going to bed. "Am fed much by mum, and will love to eat yours tomorrow; all I need now is the fruit, just as you have served them to me."
The next day, Kingston woke and looked around to see if he might see Charles; luckily, Charles was coming out of the room, dressed, and ready for work. Leaving Deborah behind to observe her leave in full. He handed Kingston the present and snack he had bought for him. And again promised to take him out later in the evening; by then he should have returned from school and had his rest. He then kissed him on his forehead and did the same to Deborah before leaving for work.
