Helina hit the ground running, at least in the figurative sense, when they reached the office the next day. Chase was hosting some college students for a day of networking and learning about his business.
“They are from the college I attended so I do it every year. A lot of alumni at the school do it.”
She nodded. She didn’t get it because wolves didn’t go to college. “What do you need from me?”
They were in a conference room on the same floor as their office. Helina hadn’t noticed it before, but Chase said it was open to all the businesses in the building. It was part of the rent.
Chase had designed the building to be for those businesses that didn’t need a lot of employees. He’d called it co-working.
She learned something new about the human world every single day.
She put folders at each chair at the table. “Six only?”
