Jealousy and resentment
Abigail was on time, thanks to Christopher. She thought she would doze off, but she became fresh when she came out of the house.
Her disposition was delightful. Although Christopher had not said that he loved her, she could tell that he had feelings for her. If not, he would not have shown so much care.
The training room was not as big as that of the Essence Concierge. There were only a few people, who all seemed to be well-educated and highly skilled in their respective fields.
Abigail felt out of place among them. She could not understand why Christopher had sent her here.
He could have waited until she finished her training at the Essence Concierge before hiring her here.
She pushed away her questions and focused on the trainer, who had just arrived.
When the session started, she gradually realized it was not proper training. It was an induction for the newly hired employees.
