Christopher received a call early in the morning and left in a hurry.
Abigail couldn't even get up and ask him if everything was okay. She had been in pain since last night. Although the intensity of the pain had reduced, it was still there. She also had bleeding, which was reduced to spotting a while later. She thought her period had arrived.
Pain with her period was unusual for her, and she wondered why she was experiencing it this time. She decided to go to the hospital before going to the office.
Despite her physical discomfort, Abigail couldn't stop worrying about Christopher. She was perplexed as to what had happened to annoy him so early in the morning. Her mind raced with possibilities.
She was worried his competitor had done something again to trouble him. She thought she would act swiftly to get the land deal so that she would keep Mr. Harper busy dealing with his own problems and stop creating problems for Christopher.
