Chapter 47: Friend or Foe...
“Hi” The message on Lia’s phone simply read. Lia knew it was wise not to reply. She did not want to talk to Bobby, she wondered what he wanted.
“I know you hate me and saying I am sorry will probably not do anything to fix the damage I did to your life. I have decided to travel for a while, to do some soul searching. I just wanted to tell you that I am sorry, and I wish you nothing but happiness.”
Another text from Bobby came in.
Lia read the text and decided it was a good thing Bobby was going away. She did not want to see him ever again. He had done enough damage, and it was best they go their separate ways.
“May I please call you? I would like to hear your voice one last time!” Yet another message came in.
Was he being serious? Call her? What was wrong with Bobby? Did he think she wanted to talk to him? Did he think she cared what he would like?
“Lia! I can see that you are receiving my messages and reading them. Please reply!”
