Chapter 24
Sutton Price
It was Friday evening. Sutton was at her parents' house. Her parents had gone out for a fundraising dinner. Despite having an apartment of her own, she enjoyed staying with them most of the time. Jacob Mackay was her date and she dreaded it all week. Since the last time at dinner, she had not heard from him. Sutton couldn't have been happier when he called her father to cancel the night's plans due to whatever emergency that had come up on his part.
She wandered around the home she had grown up in. Nothing had changed except herself. When she was younger, it always seemed too big in her little eyes, but she had grown into it just fine. She loved her home, always and forever, while growing up. That it was the only country styled house around the boulevard fascinated her. The interior was vast, and with lots of rooms.
