CHAPTER 40

　　Scarlet's POV

　　I'm at the mall now. Just walking around. There is no problem with the company and Boss is there now so he let me wander around first. I also miss the malls here.

　　I passed through the kid's world. I see children happily playing in arcades together with their parents. I just smiled.

　　But a boy caught my attention. He was blushing from crying as he looked around. He seems to be missing. I immediately approached him when I noticed that people were just looking at him.

　　"Hey baby.."

　　I called him. He turned around and I saw he was even surprised to see me... He cried, even more, when he saw me. I was confused. Shit! How bad is my face so that the child is more afraid of me?

　　"I'm safe now 'cause you're here..."

　　He said weakly. My heart pounded when he hugged me tightly. He seems to know me. He rested on my shoulders. He looked at me again and smiled.

　　"I'm lost. Can I come with you?"
