Chapter 114

Meanwhile, after two hours, the transfer was finally done, and the specialist removed the connected wire and needle from their hands. 

Yvonne felt weak and was dizzy. She sat up on the bed and stretched herself. She has been in bed for a very long time. 

"How are you feeling?" the specialist inquired with a furrowed brow. 

"I feel dizzy, and my head is throbbing in pain," she managed to articulate. 

The specialist furrowed his brow further, puzzled. "I could understand feeling dizzy, but your head throbbing in pain doesn't seem like one of the symptoms of the poison." 

"What do you mean?" She questioned, locking eyes at him. 

The specialist comes around her and checks her pulse. To his surprise, her pulse was not stable at all; it was like there were two poisons fighting among themselves. 

But how is it possible? He checked to see if she had poison before the transfer, but she didn't. 

"Is anything wrong?" Yvonne asked.
