Invitations

Over a 1000 Origin Crystals….a giddy feeling began to bubble throughout Asher's entire body. Even for him, Asher couldn't deny it felt immensely satisfying using his own abilities to make money.

Now he truly has a way to take Elsa on any fancy dates one day in the future.

But taking more precedent in his mind now was the fact this money can certainly be used to considerably buff both Reese and Kylee!

No matter how fast they were improving, Asher wouldn't place unrealistic goals in them and try to force them to become stronger in just mere days. Without them receiving a System Mission, it's quite literally impossible.

However, now, just with these riches alone, he can considerably boost Reese and Kylee's survival rate for the mission.

And, this was just the beginning.

To have the most absolute assurance in Reese and Kylee's survival rate, he'll need far more money than this.

Furthermore, even for Elsa and himself, Asher wanted the same amount of protection for them. No matter how insane their talented prowess are now, venturing deep in the Decrypted Woods could easily lead to irreversible destruction.

Asher's desire to fight in these matches was already high, but now, it was boosted to a tremendous degree. Moreover, it won't be only him fighting.

With Elsa soon standing up to the plate, their fortunes will only double or maybe even triple!

"This time, for such a large surplus of Origin Crystals, you will receive a special made Spatial Ring. It has all the same function as any other Spatial Ring but can specifically hold massive quantities of Magic Crystals without ruining their qualities."

The announcer explained while taking out a blue color Spatial Ring. As he put the ring on the counter, his brows wrinkle ever so slightly while staring at Asher.

For a brief moment there, he appeared as wanted to say more.

However, a sudden thought streaked into his mind, forcing him to not speak about his idea. One thing he was absolutely positive about was that Asher would continue fighting here. So there wasn't a need to rush anything.

Neither Asher nor Elsa paid any attention to the split reaction of the announcer. Instead, their eyes were glued to the blue color Spatial Ring sitting right before them.

Admittedly, both Asher and Elsa had genuinely learned something new from this Spatial Ring.

They both know that Spatial Rings are essentially mysterious objects that can store almost any non-living organism. But neither of them knew that these Spatial Rings could actually affect the quality of Magic Crystals.

Sure, they were aware that Spatial Rings all have a unique property of Mana energy that allows for the items to be stuff inside.

However, never once Asher nor Elsa was taught about Spatial Rings being able to degrade the quality of items.

And if the Burning Night Pit Organization has a different distinct quality of Spatial Rings like this one here, who knows what other special ones they had in their rewarding room.

While their minds were formulating all kinds of ideas, Asher and Elsa, on the outside, were entirely calm.

Without delaying any longer, Asher picked his Night Badge and new Spatial Ring and stuffed it right into his pockets.

Seeing that the transaction was over, Asher and Elsa gave one last nod to the announcer, turned around, and began strolling towards the door. But just as Asher was about to turn the handle, a slight glint swirled in the announcer's eyes.

"One last thing before you're off. I would advise you to look out for any invitations you might receive in the future. The achievement your performed and will continue to perform has a more profound impact than you might think." The announcer said, thinking saying this much was good enough.

And as expected, both Asher and Elsa completely paused.

The announcer's words echoed in their minds, bringing them mixed thoughts. Neither of them wasn't really sure how to take that news.

While they were suspicious of the Burning Night Pit Organization attempting to make contact with them, they didn't even think of anyone else trying to reach out to them.

But the more Asher and Elsa thought about it, the more they realized that all of these masked people could very well be from at least Middle-Class level Families.

Or perhaps, even High-Class level families!

Everyone here certainly dressed like they were from at least High-Class level families in any case. And these powerful, influential families wouldn't really hesitate to pour an investment that can potentially earn them more money.

Elsa didn't turn back to the announcer, stewing on her thoughts. But Asher did a half-turn back, asking the announcer,

"These invitations….would they cause trouble for us?"

"Oh? Not at all. It's an unbreakable rule that anything that happens within Matches stays within Matches. No matter who you kill, it doesn't matter their previous background or influence; their death will not bring you any harm. Still, I mention to look out for these invitations as some of our audience can give out deals that could potentially benefit you." The announcer further explained.

"Hmmm….I see. Well then, we'll just keep this in mind. Thank you for the info."

Asher said with a courteous nod. This certainly put more things into perspective for him.

Then without any more distractions, Asher and Elsa walked out of the record room, their minds heavily invested in the Burning Night Pit organizational structure now.

….

"That man….I feel like he was attempting to probe something out of us with his explanations. Undoubtedly, he has a particular interest in you." Elsa suddenly spoke after quietly pondering her thoughts for a few minutes now.

Once they were far out of the range of that announcer, Elsa felt it was now the appropriate time to talk. There was just a bad vibe rubbing her the wrong way after that announcer told them the invitation information.

"I know; I saw it when he appeared on stage after the match. Still, whatever his, or rather, this organization's plans are, we'll just ignore it for now. Not like we have readily reliable information on them. But, disregarding their plans, what do you think about people inviting us? It's inevitable for me, and with your talent, it'll be inevitable for you as well."

The same strange vibe was also present in Asher's body after talking to that announcer. Though, he managed to push it down quickly, knowing it wouldn't be worth it to overly worry about a powerful, mysterious organization.

Elsa also pushed down her suspicions on the organization and began pondering over what she knows about Class level families. She raised her hand to her mask, slightly tilting her head in a pondering manner.

"Truthfully, we don't really have to worry as much with the invitations. I may not be so well-versed in the various families within our district, but it's more than simple enough for me to gain them. Any invitation we can simply look into." Elsa casually explained.

And Asher couldn't help but feel even more grateful to Elsa.

While he never had a considerable interest in the various aspects of High-Class life, he can certainly admit those people are incredibly resourceful.

Even though they would essentially be going against two High-Class level families in the future, Elsa's family would be indirectly helping them as of now.

But one day, Asher knows they'll have to face the full brunt of what those families can truly do.

Shaking his head at that slightly dreadful thought, Asher told Elsa, "Hopefully, if we do receive invitations, there would be one family that is half decent among them. Anyway, leaving that matter for later, let me ask you now, Elsa. Are you ready to step up to the plate? Remember, no pressure at all whether you want to kill or not."

"I'm….I mean, yes, I am ready. I can't just let you do all of the heavy liftings."

Elsa had a slight hesitation in her voice initially, but it quickly smoothed over, quickly shifting back to her usual indifferent tone.

Asher curled his eyebrows just a slight bit but didn't comment on her hesitation. Scanning Elsa with his Aura Sense, Asher didn't detect her aura was chaotic or jumbled up.

Since she seems adequately prepared to take the leap, Asher began to feel genuine excitement burn within his blood.

This would be the first time he'll see Elsa actually fight!

And though her match would most likely be over in just mere seconds, he could finally see the true power of Origin Mana energy.

….

Soon enough, Asher and Elsa ended back up at the Matches Vendor.

This time Elsa was the one to sign up, so she had to undergo the process of registering herself, codename, Magical Power, and her Night Badge.

Afterward, Elsa began to quickly shuffle through the Origin Tier list.

Like Asher, she had only scrolled through the Early Stage of the Origin Tier realm. Initially, Elsa was half tempted to go through Asher's route and pick two different opponents of an excellent reputation.

But Elsa suddenly thought about that Late Stage Spirit Tier match.

That match gained a tremendous amount of attention to the point that the noble announcer said it was quite extraordinary. Moreover, that underground arena was enormous, and all audience seats were filled up.

So subtly, Elsa began to prod the Match Vendor, asking her, "Before I choose, may I ask if my match would be considered a special one considering I am in the Origin Tier realm? Last time we came here, there was a special Match held between only two Late Stage Spirit Tier foes."

"You are correct. In actuality, despite the long lists we have of Late Stage Spirit Tiers, and above this realm, it's rare to see fights occur between them. As you could guess, Spirit Tier from Late Stage to Peak, Origin Tier, and Earth Tier cultivators would hold far more responsibilities than Early to Mid Stage Spirit Tiers. Even if you pick an average Early Stage Origin Tier, your match will cause great traction." The Match Vendor readily explained.

After hearing this, a bright light began to flash in Elsa's eyes as she turned her attention back down to the Origin Tier list.
